  • Saw them open for Alice Cooper in New Orleans (1973). They called themselves Flourescent Leach and Eddie.

  • Flo and Eddie are so seriously unknown it is shocking. Recently I discovered they lent their falsetto vibrato to no less than T Rex. I reckon their voices were the "secret" to T Rex's success!

  • Flo and Eddie are older than me.

  • they're older than a lot of us.

  • Used To Listen To Flo & Eddie Back In The 70's, Damn, They Were f-ing Great!

  • Flo & Eddie appear to have more fun in their chosen occupation then most if not any other r&rollers. Love their lampoons too like Bruce and Doors. What are you into renlib? - Debby Boone and Barry Manilow?

  • Flo & Eddie are known to lampoon current music during their shows. I actually went to this event, but I could swear it was 1990 because of the girl I went with. We were together throughout 1990! The event was indeed a disaster. I'd say maybe 200 people showed up to a HUGE amphitheater. Gary Lewis, Strawberry Alarm Clock (who didn't play any of their hits), Gary Puckett and others were there too.

    PS Zappa was a god!

  • Thanks even if it was short.

  • The Turtle's music lives on.....beautiful production on their singles. Keep on trucking boys!

  • Where's the rest of it? More please.

  • Are you some spotty 'Erk'? Maybe your balls have just dropped. And you probably don't know much about music...you probably think the Rembrants are cool, cause they did the 'Friends' theme...P R I C K.

  • What is the song this video starts with? It sounds exactly like the riff from "Sweet Child of Mine." Flo and Eddie shoulda sued, since this came first.

  • it is sweet child, and no this was not first...this is from 1989, sweet child was released in 1987.

  • Mark and Howard are hillarious. If you are anywhere close to where they are performing just go. Be prepared to laugh and have a wonderful time.

  • flo and eddie[turtles] sold 40 million records.

They should be in the hall of fame.

  • Hahahahahaha...after hearing FLO & EDDIE i really think the Turtles are a joke!!!

  • No, they aren't a joke- wrote and performed some phenomenal music in the late sixties.

You wouldn't judge The Beach Boys by Mike Loves strange onstage gyrations, would you?

  • The Turtles are pretty much everything Zappa was against..A huge mainstream band writting cheesy songs!

Mothers at the filmour east-"Play your big hit record! And i want you to play it with a BULLET!"

ect ect I cant see me loving nobody but you ect ect(Played better than i ever heard). Flo and Eddie playing with Zappa was like growing up..But not maturing:P

  • To be fair, though- the day I sit through one of Frank Zappas utterly, disgustingly, all encompassinly SHITE albums, is the day my ears have jumped off my goddamned head.

Egads...! His whole music/attitude is pretty much everything I'M against. An arrogant fucker who goes for the number one getout clause for all his puerile gobshiting- 'but its ironic'. There's good irony and bad irony. Leave irony to the Brits, eh Frank.

  • When you can compose those songs, conduct 100 piece orchestras, make decent budget films, and LEAD a band of 7 members for 40 years instead of complaining on youtube, (wasting constructive time) maybe your opinion would become more valid.

  • Yeah, but I wouldn't compose those songs, because they are horseshit. I write great songs, and have a decent amount of self doubt- unlike Zappa, who was immensely satisfied with the sound of himself embracing the fucking shitter every morning.

    Self satisfied shit.

  • LMFAO!!!!!!

  • @joemgeek Where are you from, asshole? England? You obviously don't understand "music" if you have such thoughts. You see, Zappa is not the kind of artist ANYBODY attacks like you have. He had too much "substance", a bona-fide "musician's musician". Arrogant and self-important, maybe, but you are here attacking probably one of possibly three (3) musical geniuses of the 20th Century, hence you are a fool and a genuine musical idiot. Leave comments like these about the artists worth attacking.

  • If I had to judge the Beach Boys by Mike Love, they'd be in deep shit.

  • That's because you are an idiot.
