Saw them open for Alice Cooper in New Orleans (1973). They called themselves Flourescent Leach and Eddie.

Flo and Eddie are so seriously unknown it is shocking. Recently I discovered they lent their falsetto vibrato to no less than T Rex. I reckon their voices were the "secret" to T Rex's success!

Flo & Eddie are known to lampoon current music during their shows. I actually went to this event, but I could swear it was 1990 because of the girl I went with. We were together throughout 1990! The event was indeed a disaster. I'd say maybe 200 people showed up to a HUGE amphitheater. Gary Lewis, Strawberry Alarm Clock (who didn't play any of their hits), Gary Puckett and others were there too.

PS Zappa was a god!
