My old band LaCrosse played the same show "Casablanca" so I was there, standing somewhere behind the cameraman.
This was recorded really early in the day, Phil & the band came direct from a gig/party in Copenhagen if I remember it right, and they did this amazing version of "Growing Up" & "The Mans A Fool". Phil played a red Gibson 335 & I on my '65 Red Epiphone Casino, we thought i was quite funny, having both having similar red guitar, thanx for uploading this!

!!!!!!!! ídolo total!!!ídolo de alma!!!
All I can say is. Why isn't there such beautiful songs on popular radio and modern chart anymore. We've truly lost ourselves. Thanks for a great reminder of how things used to be.
i'd have loved to see lynott live, especially since he did a tour in sweden which is so close my home country. too bad i was born 8 years after he died.
I meet Phil backstage in Gothenbourg, Sweden on the 21th oct. 1982. This memory is one of the greatest in my life. The Tv show was recorded during Phil´s solo tour in Sweden oct. 1982.
Oh I forgot, they played a third song on the Casablana Show: -Yellow Pearl - Attack, Attack, Attack, Attack ...

Philo's solo albums are so under-rated. Solo in Soho, and The Philip Lynott album, have some amazing stuff on them..
