need help: held the power, volume down & pic button but when it went to recovery screen, there isn't any selection that says install from sd card. mine only has 4 selection which say: reboot system now, apply update from sdcard, wipe data, wipe cache. dont know what to do now.

i installed cwm and used odin it said that it worked and so i loaded the su zip on my phone but when i booted into recovery cwm was nowhere to be found it was the regular android recovery any ideas?

Is there a requirement to have the clockworkmod on the phone before proceeding with this? If so, it is not in the info under the video. I would also wonder why I have to have the CWM on the phone - one should be able to root the phone without CWM in place, correct?

Hey,,,I need some Serious Help. I installed the zip file from the link on this video, and attempted to install it, but I don't have ACS recovery. It's just android system recovery. When I attempted to apply the update (zip file), it just told me "E:failed to verify whole-file signature" & "E:signature verification failed:. what can I do? Installation was aborted. PLEASE HELP!!! Ive posted on other videos, and still havent gotten an answer. Ive gotten everything to work like you have in your videos except for the last step. Ive downloaded and put onto my sd card the su.zip file multiple times, and it says the install is complete. But when i go to reboot now, and it reboots, there is no superuser on my phone, and i assume that it is not rooted either. ACS clockworkmod is on there, all the other steps went as planned...Help please......

What version of su does the link bring you to? maybe i installed an outdated version? i have 3.0.7 installed..and there is an update...but it needs to be rooted to install the update....

OK something was wrong with that recovery. It gets stuck on the ACS logo and when I hit home button, it goes back to ACS recovery home menu but if I hit any options, goes back to the logo and stays there. ACS website isn't working so I can't download the files again.
