The glitch I exploit the most is more an animation glitch than a game glitch. The "boss doors" open up from the bottom when you touch them. This is supposed to create the illusion that you open the door from the bottom. But suppose you're in the middle of a jump, and you touch the door when you're in mid-air, touching the top of the door instead of the bottom. What happens? The door still opens up from the bottom. For some reason, I always get a kick out of doing this. :-)

There is one cool glitch which allows you to skip the Yellow Devil fight. Basically, you need to get a lot of enemies to drop items in the same horizontal line and then shoot thunder bolt which causes a sprite overflow. This has 1 to 4 million chance to trigger delay_stage_clear event which ends the stage.

Dudes, there's no such thing as a hard Mega Man game.

Maybe some particular stages here and there, but none is as hard as you say they are.

One thing I think Capcom went overboard with was the final boss of Mega Man 7. It is the only game of the original series I've played and not completed...

If you take into account all Mega Man games you should all be hailing the first MM Zero as the hardest fucking thing ever.

@kev3d I actually found the original Mega Man to be pretty easy. The only frustrating part was the Yellow Devil. Mega Man 2 on difficult however is one of the hardest Mega Man games I've played.

I once read an article about some of the toughest NES games and Contra, not Super C was listed. But again, this is the exact opposite of my experience, where the first Contra was a breeze (after much practice, I admit) but Super C kicked my ass.
