2h shaman pvp is very effective if you can play it right. you need to switch to DW after stormstrike if WF doesnt proc. to keep mealstrom up. but other than that ive played at a 1700 arena raiting in 2s with a 2h weapon. you hit a brick wall at that point to where the burst damage of 2h WF isnt enough.

2h is for showing off but it relys way to much on a WF proc. if you dont get that proc or its a shitty proc your fucked and will die. The best way to do 2h pvp is have a macro to switch to DW if stormstrike doest proc a WF with ur 2h weapon

hes wearing all pve gear in bg's. and hes mostly showing the major windfury crits. Most of the time windfury doesn't proc and you just end up dying so no 2h is not op at all.

@Russkijmedeved In BGs using a strong 2H weapon is amazing, just not that good in arena, cause in arena you rely on maelstrom a lot more and dual wielding keeps its almost constantly up where 2H doesn't.
