Laila had the best intentions to avoid surprises but Curtis wasn't as open as she expected. Mark did the same thing this season, he brought Kristi's hubby and kids to rehearsal and Kristi's husband is cool about their rumba routine. He's very supportive of Kristi and Mark. Wrong decision by ABC -- to highlight -"the boyfriend is watching you two" joke. Samantha's drilling was intrusive and unnecessary.
Season 3, Samantha tells Willa, "it looks like you two[Maks and Willa] are falling for each other." Just tacky and sent the wrong message.
Perhaps in season 5, Samantha and ABC will be more tactful and professional. In fact, I hope the entire show is more tactful and professional. There is never any reason to be unkind to the pros and celebrities.

Wrong decision by ABC -- to highlight -"the boyfriend is watching you two" joke. Samantha's drilling was intrusive and unnecessary.
Season 3, Samantha tells Willa, "it looks like you two[Maks and Willa] are falling for each other." Just tacky and sent the wrong message.
Perhaps in season 5, Samantha and ABC will be more tactful and professional. In fact, I hope the entire show is more tactful and professional. There is never any reason to be unkind to the pros and celebrities.

Although, I love Maks/Cheryl Rumba....Maks and Laila Rumba has a natural element to it. It draws you into sensuality and flirtation of Laila and Maks. Apolo and Julianne's Rumba was called "sex on the dance floor" but quite frankly, I did not feel the credibility of Apolo/Julianne attraction.

Well, dancing is intimate. A person can control what he/she does with emotion, but controlling a physical reaction is much more difficult. Just a natural reaction...and them ears sure were red, baby:)

Yep. I kinda of know whay she ddin't win. She's got so much potential. I wanted to see more of her. SHe could way more, but she was scared. That's was she got voted off. Joey was doing his thing, stretching off the air, Apolo was doing the best he could, and did it. Man, I wish oh I wish Laila could've won ! She' very really good! I miss her.
