The only problem is due to the last 12 years of education (mind control) and shit TV people are too apathetic to notice stuff like this and are more interested in the fucking X factor! you do pay VAT on Dry Roasted peanuts for some reasons. They must be no longer food.
I wonder could any one live a life with out paying VAT. You have to pay VAT on over the counter medication, cleaning products for yourself, cloths and the house.
well....now that the buzzards need to fund their own summer homes and nannies they will need more money..........they will be brought down......it is just a matter of time..........i hope...
Bonus tax at 50%, i would have thought they are already paying 40% on it anyway, possibly more for high rate taxpayers. Unless its a double hit in which case it is only a bonus for our dear government, where they will get 75% of any bonus.

BBC reporting at its best. they have such a eye for detail.
We shop at Lidl a lot and what I like about their receipts is that it tells you what you pay VAT on. Its unbelieveable what is taxed.
You dont pay VAT on:
# food
# books, newspapers and magazines
# children's clothes
But you do pay VAT
