  • I found this hard to watch without the techno....

  • what ram was that rd ram

  • What song is this?

  • oh how far we have come

  • what pump is that?

  • is that a socket A water block if so what type is it?

  • how installs power supplies last? :p

  • is it possible to use car radiator cooling fluid?

  • I could honestly never use this. I would be afraid all the time. What if a tube ruptures and leaks all over my components? lol

  • @airborne101st45 its rare that it happens if everthing was done right. personal i would get a old pc and try it on that for your frist time so if you missed something and it breaks its not going to cost 500 dollars to fine a new board or cpu or gpu.i recommend a old Pentium 3 based board for a beginner

  • verry ugly case

  • the stock cooler on that gpu looks HUGE even in 2008 standards. and that place where they fit the rad had like 15 tiny holes. and that rad looks like it was meant to heat water not cool it.

  • hola cuanto me costaria hacer mi propio systema como el que hiciste?

  • metal snap-rings instead of plastic binders is way better and prevents leaks!

  • will that ever leak

  • i watched in horror as he put to much paste on

  • 22 people had their water cooling leak

  • Ram cooling?

  • too much slack from cpu to north bridge 4:30

  • sees tubing screws and impressed; sees ghetto zip tie, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUu

  • it makes me want to spend the rest of this summer inside this unit .

  • rofl how old is this?

  • @wetard about 8 years...

  • Water cooling sucks nards. Just use dry ice bags every few days, thats what my buddy does while hes gaming hardcore!

  • socket.a.ra.rá.rakhattad.te.barom!!!!!!!ujabbal.csinalhattad.von.mert.papinak.volt.ojan-.gépe!!!!HE-HE-HE

    BAROM

  • That case is huge!!!

  • Watercooling great but, when i did my watercooling on my AMD .there was too much air traped in the watercooling tank, and boom . I had to buy everything again!! so you must be very caarefull popele

  • @98Joshy Bleed your loop. If there's air trapped in your reservoir, you don't have to replace everything. In fact you don't need to replace anything. Just leave the system running with the reservoir cap opened so that the air will move outta the loop.

  • why not just run your PC in a bath full of liqiud nitrogen?

  • why is it that he gets a sick ass water cooling kit and uses it on a dull pc case?

  • @aurangzib This is just a demo.

  • whyd you wanna water cool that pile? :L

  • 3:37... that's gonna leak

  • badass song. hahha.

  • song?

  • I thought wather was the worst enemy of computers lol

  • ugly case :S

  • Im wondering what happends when you put a high rpm delta fan on your radiator.

  • @shermanlee85856 it will be ice age again and it will be your fault lol

  • @shermanlee85856 lol Delta's are made for rad's like the GTX, Koolance etc.

  • 1 ugly case

  • song??

  • what kinda case is that?!?!?!?!

  • oh the headline is sooo fake! it´s called: How to BUILD YOUR OWN water cooling system.. nothing is bulit. it is only buying a complete system and installing it. nothing OWN in there. fake and lame.

  • @atsekjoker i agree i was dissappointed when i saw this.

  • nice toturial.....

  • I want to do this :( but no can do aint got a fuckuing shop selling that stuff.... I want to live in america....in florida....house by the beach...and a Nice view....where am i? WHO Are u GUYS!?

  • Do not use zip ties!!!!! it will slip off! Use hose clamps instead!

  • no water ram

  • Yay You can play tetris on it.

  • thank you this was so helpful all my parts came in and I was having some trouble installing the watercooling kit but no more now off to test my system

  • i think yoo got too much thermal paste at the start

why not just buy one and save the trouble?

  • i always wan't to mod my powerful desktop...here are the specs intel core 2 quad x2 corsair 4GB x4 = 16GB ram western digital raptor drive 1TB x4 raid 0 ati radeon HD 4890 x2 samsung 120hz flatscreen monitor skull trail dual cpu mobo BluRay BD+RW plz comment
  • delete this video this is old school.

  • what a gay music in bachground -.-

  • Too much thermal compound

Oh and that little radiator won't cool all those components that good.

Air cooling prolly beats this setup when it comes to temperature ;)

  • @razje 6.5 year old movie....

  • HOLY SHIT!!! how much thermal compound, temps will rocket with all that.

  • nice PC :D:D

  • MI COMPUTADOR CUANDO TIENE SED LE DOY UNA COCA COLA

  • I always wanted to mod my pc (16 Gb Ram) 4xCPU 3.03GhZ, 2x1TB and 1x2Tb HD,SOUNDBLASTERXTREME DELUXE, 2x1GB NVIDIA GRAPHIC CARD)

But i cannot do anything to keep it cold inside my pc i use frigration tubes (sorry for the spell) this video is just awesome but still dreaming for me :D

    Tino from Spain

  • Nice vid... 2 YEAR AGO !!

  • the tubing is far too thin, a decent pump will pull it flat, leaving you with decreased waterflow. Also, why are you using 2 different kinds of ram? Sticking with 1 brand might eliminate problems you might run into..

  • LOL! the hdd is IDE xD

  • this is such an old video there need to be an update lol

  • bioshock watercooling

  • wow i wish u can make my computer like

  • motherfucker.....thats a dream cooling machine. very acceptional video

  • can someone tell me what brands of computer cases are good for water cooling?

  • very nice man...

i'm off to get the equipments !! :-)

  • yah wut plattronics said!!!

  • you're an idiot. what if there was a leak? run the system for 24 hours detached from components and check for leaks before proper installation.

  • @plantronics590

See the thing is, I disagree with you completely. This guy has probably done this multiple times in order to do a "how to" video.

Don't be a douchebag and call him an idiot, he was just thinking that maybe YOU had the common sense not to run it before checking for leaks.

    And aparently, you're an idiot.

  • how many does it cost

  • alot

  • @jimscopter creo que hasta 100 dolares

  • yeah whats the song called

  • Nice Watercooling, but is that little radiator enouth to cool the water?

Do you wont mod that case? Well, it looks a little booring...

And BTW, how is the song called?

  • @ProAnMac True that radiator isnt big enough. my advice is use a good water chiller.

  • Thats a huge case

  • it' s just so amazing when you can watch the installation of those coolers if i had one of these i would be in heaven, good pc you have there ;-D

  • lol thats like a very old computer but the video is very helpful on how to setup the cooling system!

  • wow how old is that cpu?

  • Comment removed

  • i saw this video back in 2002

  • my graphic card is a shit...like yours whahahahahahahahahaha

  • It's cool ....

But wouldn't it be cheaper to buy entire water cooling system than buying seperate parts??

    Great vid though.... :D

  • generally if you are building a water cooled rig, the price shouldnt be an issue. if it is, stick to air cooling.

Different companies have different quality parts and having a good mix of parts from different companies is always good.

Koolance for instance make great GPU cooling solutions but their CPU solutions arent always as good.

  • @shmedrix

Its like buying a premade PC vs building your own.

You can choose the best possible parts for the best results. Most "all in 1" kits I have seen are good but not near as good as what others piece together.

  • what are the song names??

    pls....

  • For a second i thought he was gon put his grandmother on the table

  • im doing this when i get money man

  • some know the song name ```???

  • where did you get the parts, and what did they cost?

  • Newegg is a good place to get stuff like that and see what people think of it before hand so you have a better idea of if your getting something that sucks or is a good deal

  • great vid :D

  • that looks cool

  • man ur music realy matches ur vid i love it 5 stars

  • song name `*?

  • is that amd duron?

  • uh wow You need a fucking BIG computer case for all the shit you have to put in it as shown here...

  • I know people fixate on watercooled PCs leaking, if it is engineered properly it should not happen EVER. Also apart from the power supply section the PC is mostly low voltage... I have had condensation trickling from a peltiered CPU and the motherboard still works to this day. Obvioulsy long term this would cause problems if not dealt with. The ONLY trouble I had with watercooling was the water needed anti fungal additives, it used to get murky pretty quickly.

  • WAY WAY TO MUCH THERMAL PASTE.

  • agreed

  • @YamahaYourFace rofl yeah

  • @YamahaYourFace Sry for the question being 7 months since you posted it, but too much thermal paste can be bad for the cooling system?

  • @38828601manu Yes, it can be bad for your system

  • @YamahaYourFace What problem does it represent?

  • It's also better to fill from the top (let air escape) and perform a test without the components in it. Otherwise you could pop a leak and destroy your stuff....

  • u can test without the power on, if u get water on ur mobo it wont break it, unless thrs a current going through the semiconductors

  • 1:22 Why don't people realize that smearing the paste causes bubbles!?

  • yup yup. I like to put a layer on with a card or plastic bag on my finger.

  • what are the names of the songs used in this vid??

  • dont use zipties use metal clamps and use rubber mounts on ur pump

  • guess what happens when it leaks XD

  • The "cooling elements" are really called water blocks.

TIPS: DO NOT BUY SETS. -This video is old: if you tried to hook up your Graphics card, northbridge, cpu and hard drive on a single resevoir and pump, you'll only kill your computer as it would heat up extremely rapidly. You can't even have the same resevoir for a single CPU and GPU and get good temps.

This vids old: don't expect your water cooling to look anything like this. Build your own period.

  • this video just, show you how to make a watercoolling system, you can buy new parts and new watercolling stuff if you want. :)

  • @zackcyboy

wait what you are telling me that my cpu memory vga hdd loop is not possible with my 37 degrees idle and 48 load??

lolz i have it here though:D

i think your mistake is that you put your cpu at the end of the loop or something or only have a 1x80mm rad or something:S

  • @zackcyboy it depends... becuase on the performance of the CPU an GPU if its a rather low performance GPU it wont produce the as much heat as a high performance... the same for the CPU

  • @zackcyboy this was in the old days if you look closely you can see that the cpu is a p4

  • @fl0r1svdk ??? P4 = AMD :O

  • Comment removed

  • Good video! I just found one thing amusing which isn't actually funny but in this case it is :P

At the beginning when you introduce the different parts you say "It's actually very simple!" and then put a ton of items on the table. Cooling water, cooling elements, thermal paste, flow meter, cable, elbows, cable holders, header tank, heat exchanger, hard drive cooler (gosh, when does this list end?) and so on.

  • my only criticism on this build is that, while it may be quiet and look good, you simply will not get the performance out of that loop with only one heat exchanger. for my i7 and 4870 graphics card, i'm using one swiftech double 120mmm rad and a TFC xchanger (their awesome 5* product) wjich is twice as thick as the swiftech rad, so in effect, I gave 3 double 120mm rads cooling 2 componants, but the performance is unreal.

  • i've already assembled my PC together..is it too late to install the cooler for the processor since i've already put the fan on it.

  • just take it off, clean the CPU with alcohol wipes, put new thermal compound on then install the waterblock

  • water cooling system for PC cost about 200€ here in Slovenia

  • you can buy cooling systems for 120€ in slo

  • how much it cost all the set

  • where can i get all this stuff?

  • Big hardware stores, possibily PC or electronics stores

  • all I really NEED is just CPU cooler, Mine is ungodly loud, Its bad, so bad I can hear it at night screaming away at almost 6,000 rpm from the bedroom which is 25 feet from my office. But honestly i don't want to spend around 100$ or more just to cool a chip....so looks like I'm stuck.

    Great video 5 stars.

  • just buy a CPU cooler that's quiet they are cheap, quiet and require no maintenance. However, they perform badly and can be loud (in which case you can get a speed regulator to make the fans quieter).

  • thats pretty sweet

  • what inch tubeing is that?

  • does that mean i need a full sized tower??? i have a pretty crouded mid size tower, but is still tidy enough for easy air flow

  • Looks like a Gigabyte K7 mobo, just like I had a while back. Lasted awhile, then blew some capacitors. Otherwise a good board back in 1999. Well done job btw!

  • old machine lol

  • how much have you paid fore that?

  • hey great vid man!

  • omg the video is nice 5* but i don't wanna make that i think it's unstable :P

  • can u tell me the name of the music u put at the final

  • who needs a water cooled harddrive a fan does more than enough.

  • nice vid and all.... but what most ppl are looking for is how to actually build one themselves without having to spend $800 on all the parts... like a homemade water cooler

  • Great vid, did a great job on the step by step.. but why did you make a water cooled pc with such a shitty case?

  • y would the case be important and realy its not a shitty case its very standard and definetly has the space but it is def old, lacks extra fetures

  • probably didnt want to do it on the good case incase something went wrong :P

  • i would probably use alcohol or some kind of solvent that is very fluid, this stuff will take heat away very efficiently, maybe even use glycol anti freeze....

  • and a radiator filled with freon

  • omg all this looks like things from outer space...

  • and mow runs windows vista

  • 3:40 hmmm sexy

  • HAHA! Your Sick!

  • ROFL, thought so lol

  • This was more of a show off then explanation. Missleading title.

  • song name??

  • anyone know the song's name?????

  • when i build my cooler system i am using oil instead pf water in case of leaks

  • Sounds like a mildly good idea.

but think about the pump. You may have to get a higher power pump to pump through the thicker liquid.

there may be even more than just the pump to worry about.

  • yes, i take all physical problems in mind, i may just make a case filled with oil, if i can buy one i'll make it

  • Do they run with any noise? My crappy fan cooled pc is very noisy. How much would it cost to do this?

  • If your merely complaining about noise, go buy a quieter fan. This is for advanced computer users only, who require extra cooling due to overclocking. No regular computer user should ever have this for a) No reason, your computer isn't running over 100 unless you know what your doing. B) YOU CAN BUY QUIETER FANS.

  • My Cpu had to be overclocked because it was underclocked to 1.2GHz for some reason) I have it now running at 2.2Ghz. Its a 2.4Ghz processor and I had troble with it crashing so I had to bring it down to 2.2Ghz with 8% voltage There are no computer stores in this town. It's a tiny town. So if I wanted to buy a quieter I would either have to travel 2 hours (to Bend, Ontario, or Lakeview Oregon) just to get a quieter fan. Doesn't seem worth it does it?

  • And I have like 5 fans in the computer because it has a heating issue. I would want a liquid cooled pc because I can hear it in the living room sometimes when the door is shut. I THINK A LIQUID COOLED PC WOULD BE MORE EFFICIENT THAN 5 FANS RUNNING AT THE SAME TIME WHEN IT IS 98DEGREES INSIDE WHEN WE DON'T EVEN HAVE ANY A/C BECAUSE THE LANDLORD WON'T LET US BECAUSE SHE IS A BITCH!

  • But I won't have to worry about that now because I got myself a nice little laptop. It is so much quieter than that "Jet Engine" Machine

  • lol, One of my fans are dead, I am too lazy to replace it so i just have a pedestal fan on the side witht he case removed

  • anyone know what kinda case that is??

  • can someone tell me what kind of pump that is or wat kind of pump i could use

  • what is this song its cool lol

  • hey asshole!!!!!!!!!! this video probably is older than your age. so it is make sense if he use old pc. better think first before assuming something like that

  • or maybe he uses an old pc just to test the system and then add it on his uber l33t pc made in 2009 :-??

  • water is highly conductive matter... you could short your system if it leaks...

you should put non-conductive liquid in it...

  • No. It is the impurities in the water (like salt) that make it conductive. Pure water is not conductive, and it appears he is using deionized water. Go to school, kid.

  • lol dude. water itself isnt conductive, its the impurities in it that do. so maybe do some research before making stupid comments

  • why did you have to restate what CAiSpy said? lol..

  • because it wasnt typed up at the time i clicked reply

  • Get a new pc, u pussy!1 build ure own!!

  • Is there something that can be used that's better than water? How about car antifreeze?

  • thats exactly what i wanted to know i mean its possible if you combine with water

  • NO NOT THAT!!!! car antifreeze is too corrosive for the pumps that are being used and its ment for high flow high pressure systems theres specially made watercooling solution made for cpus its cheap too

  • Song name?

  • 5/5 but how much does cost and where did you get these peices! (English)
