Doesn't the difference have to do with the the shot of the girls sitting on the bed? I noticed it got more suggestive as the series went on. What a tease. XD

I ran into some comments a long time ago, telling stuff about the 90's and how cool shows were back then.. and DAMN it! I agree with them!! and Outlaw Star is just 1 of the proofs of it.. people should look back in the good old days instead of making "NEW" crap.. the generation nowadays grow up mostly on stupid shows I guess. who here agrees with me?

Difference is the pose of Mel, Aisha and Suzuka on the bed. It's odd that they changed it just for that. In the complete collection box set I have they only ever use the first opening

Sorry but...I personally think stretching a video and so loosing the original aspect ratio is something never ever anyone should do, the quality is good but this video is 4:3 so please leave it so.

@Tenucha Unfortunately, no Blu-Ray. I can only dream that one day that will be a reality. There was a remastered version of Outlaw Star released in Japan. It's very expensive. (Search for "Outlaw Star remaster DVD" and try to find Japanese sites that sell it to find out yourself. We're talking a lot of money...)

My videos are from that remastered version, upscales to 720p with extra filters run to try to smooth it out. The result is pretty good, even if it isn't true HD. Next best thing. :)
