  • SHE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL I AM READING HER BIOGRAPHY AND IS VERY GOOD

  • She fell asleep with a lite cigarette in her hand.

  • Linda Darnell Sublimissime Pour Toujours !

  • A lovely, gorgeous woman.

  • She was such a charming beauty and so selfless from the things I've read about her. Truly beautiful

  • Discovered when she was only 16 she took to acting like a duck to water. Convincing as an innocent girl or the jaded woman, she could play them all, and did, opposite some of the very best actors of her time.

  • No offence but this was typical Hollywood treatment of their "stars" building on their looks, individually or as a couple and more or less ignoring their prowess as actors.Great couple, great individuals forever missed. Thanks for a most evocative post.

    5*

  • Thank you for making this beautiful tribute to such a beautiful lady, Linda. I have tears rolling down my face after seeing her beaufiful face and thinking about the tragedy in her life especially the way she died. It just tears my heart out to think to think of such a beautiful lady in and out was burned so bad. Life just isn't fair!

    RIP my dearest Linda.

  • Yes, she was actually called The Girl With the Perfect Face by the film industry. Her face is perfectly symmetrical. Jacqueline Smith from Charlies Angels has the same quality.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Linda Darnell sure was a girl with a perfect face. It's so sad that she died tragically at age 41. May her soul rest in peace.

  • I loved Linda Darnell, she was a great actress and gorgeous to look at. Her death is such a tragedy.

  • I feel terrible about the way she died. I was at the library recently and looked through a book about her (and I had known how she died) but in re-reading the passage again, I got so upset and choked up...very sad ending for such a lovely lady.

  • 4:26 is her prettiest picture to me.

  • @Arlease37 She went back in the house because she thought her friend's daughter was still in there after it caught on fire, but her friend's daughter was already out of the house. Linda Darnel was staying at a friend's house when it caught on fire.

  • She got out of the house but went back in to get some checks and money. While she was in a neighbor threw a chair through the back window, thereby sending in a plume of oxygen which intensified the fire. Badly burned and outside the house again she was cursing with anger. She succumbed soon after.

  • Linda known for her raven hair and somewhat Latin looks, often described as the "Girl With The Perfect Face" Linda in her early career was leading lady to male heartthrobs Tyrone Power and Henry Fonda, but in 1952 Linda found that good roles were few and far in between and she appeared in nighclubs and did summer theatre and some supporting roles in television.

Tragically Linda died in 1965 of severe burns suffered in a house fire. Fondly, Hedda

    Baz, love the red roses!

  • She was wonderful in Otto Preminger's Fallen Angel, with Dana Andrews. Three Wives also.

  • A Letter to Three Wives is all I saw her in, and she did a very nice job in that. That was a good movie all the way around. She was so pretty. Evidently made many movies.

  • Linda Darnell-a fine actress-a beautiful woman-thanks for posting this montage of her photos-good to know shes not forgotten.

  • What a true beauty!!Sultry with a sweetness in her smile. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us. I loved it! I've been a fan of hers since I saw her in "Blood & Sand" with Tyrone Power, back when I was a teen in the 80's! Her acting is flawless in "A Letter to Three Wives".

  • Another great tribute! Such a great beauty with a luscious innocence. So sad she had such a tragic death.

  • Red is the rose that adorns your hair` and

sweet is the perfume that accents your skin,

what a gentle and classic Beauty she was`

she was truly a Great actress yet so belivable

    as a real person.

    Bravo and Bravo! nicely presented

    Pierre
