What kills me is the phrasing is so uniform from hall to hall. "Sending our love back." This is very similar to church except there's no statue of Jesus dying on a cross to constantly remind people of what they're supposed to believe happened - or else. The songs in church are more lively and I didn't think this was possible, but this seems to be even more mind numbingly boring than church!

I actually remember one time a speaker saying how disheartening it was seeing children sitting and biting their nails or colouring when they're up there giving a great talk, and that we should listen and be interested more.

JW are on average the lowest qualified and lowest paid religious group. Imagine if they invested the same amount of time they do in mythology, in actually learning a skill, or just learning science.

Dear god. Nothings changed in the 20 yrs since I escaped. I remember one time when I was lost in thought, staring at a beautiful beach painting the KH had hanging on the side of the wall. One gave a part where he said the reason why cats play with mice instead of just killing them is they are all demon possessed.
