YouTube and anyone using YouTube are not affected by SOPA, SOPA targets foreign websites, YouTube is a registered in the United States. You can argue against SOPA without stating fallacies.

@Erniesduck123 Well you got this completly wrong, the U.S. government can't force foreign sites to shut down, but what they can do is shut down the connection from the U.S. to foreign sites.

However if a site is in the U.S. IT WILL BE REMOVED FOR EVERYONE!!!.

You can read the bill itself if you wish, maybe you should do that before you help 50 year old men that have no knowledge of the internet's composition DESTROY the internet.

I doubt you did or you would notice the conspicuous parts about SOPA targeting foreign websites that, if under United States jurisdiction, would be subject to persecution or seizure under Title 17 or 18. They would force web browsers to censor results, sites like PayPal to prohibit transactions, and advertisers to stop doing business with these rogue sites. There is not one part of the bill that says websites with domains registered in the U.S. are affected.

I would suggest googling "Purdue Owl"- it has a lot of information on how to site, whether you need MLA, APA or Chicago. But keep in mind, research = repuatable sources. While I'm sure you love Hank as much as I do, this is a vlog, and Hank is not an expert in the subject. It is tough- you want to give ideas credit where they're due, but this isn't researched evidence!

Honestly, I don't believe Congress (or anyone) should be able to censor (in any way shape or form) what information is available to anyone. Totally unconstitutional. I do, however, believe that copy rights should be protected. If an author decides that someone can use their content, I don't think anyone else should care. The ironic thing is that the companies imposing and supporting SOPA currently (Disney, for example) were actually the ones that PRODUCED copyright infringement programs in the first place!

Of course, they also made a very good income off of that. Millions of people downloaded those programs, and now the same people are turning back on us and getting EVEN MORE MONEY by suing people that took their copyrighted content.
