If its such a great idea, you go do it. If you do it badly enough, maybe Gladstone will do an episode on you. You'd be like a muse, but in a really bad way.
As funny as this was, I feel you missed a great opportunity to prove Fox News wrong- both Kermit and Miss Piggy are insanely rich. Their whole point just blew up in their faces!
I loved how they kept using phrases like "the left" and saying it was "liberals" who were making this movie. Could it not be someone who's is not a political ideologue, but simply notices that there are some people who get rich by screwing people over and decide to make that kind of person a bad guy. Yes, they could have made the villain a homeless bum, but that wouldn't have been much of a threat.
"I thought Sesame Street was supposed to be sharing and being nice to people..."
"So you're calling the Muppets anti-corporate communists, but you'd like them to have a movie about sharing instead. You don't really know what words mean, do you?"
Damn that was funny! Let's go to the quarry and throw stuff down there!
Don't expect Fox News to actually tell an useful information. Just enjoy it for entertainment value, because for anyone who's graduated high school, that's all it really is.
@PatFeeney92 Yes, I remember being highly entertained at the half-thought-out rants of crazy irish homophobes after I graduated high school. Definitely not before, though.
And in this segment Fox News will be portraying the so called, "Fair and Ballanced" news organization trying to brain wash innocent adults into thinking small children read anything more into the Muppet movie, than the innocent fun it was intended to be. Good Lord, every time I think that channel couldn't lower the idiot bar any farther, they do something like this!
Also, are those videos on the side ones that you watched? I know, i had a video uploaded once with a few hundred hits but not enough to be related, so it just had a couple of videos i watched before. Basically, what im saying is - "Online Hypnosis" and the Chipmunks movie trailer? Why?
You know, in the original "Muppet Movie," the Kermit and Co. were being terrorized by a successful restaurant owner. Had Fox News existed back then, would do you think they would have made the same anti-capitalist accusations, especially when Jim Henson was alive to own them in a rebuttal?
That was a good one. Make more of those. Or do I need to pay you to make demands? Because I won't. I don't have any money. Surprisingly, not because of the rich oil industry people.
@weeryan2008 I thought it used to be that you could become whatever you wanted, regardless of your start in life.. Which is not the same thing. At all.
@DaToNyOyO as an impartial brit (theresore i can scrutinise america without the corruption of the "american dream") the american dream is an extreamly flase set of beliefs, very differnt from the ones set out in all those documents you have stateing your independance from us, its a mind set that says people on the bottom of societys fault that they are so fucked, and not say the lack of a welfare state or the super rich and religious nut cases haveing too mutch power (damm the word li
Another fantastic HbN, Gladstone. What's the song you use for your ending credits though? I haven't been able to figure it out (of course that might just be from the lack of effort I've invested).
@NovocainHurricane Thanks, man. It's been bugging me for a while. Sounds like a good song and I've been wanting to listen to the whole thing for a while now.
Damn. You're FOX News rants are getting boring. Not from your jokes, from the sheer number of them.
Do a rant on the History channel or something. Or MSNBC.
Just throw in some more diversity when it comes to TV stations.
