  • This is classic...from the strong accent to the 'DON'T TAKE THAT ROAD' advice...I mean we all joke about that type of direction giving here(ireland),and for you to have it on video is just so funny, it has made my day!

  • The first lane was Pat Brady lol, not Pot Belly

  • I think there is some confusion, these directions are perfectly sensible. This video should be categorised under "Geography" not "Comedy"!

  • I think there is some confusion, I have had similar advice from an auld chap on Baranailt Road, Limavady ??

  • Meet Joe Toner at mass. Be jealous peoples :P

  • "ye's a car ha' ye's?"

    "....ok"

our farmers are so unpretentious that their culchie-ness can't be toned down for anybody, including bewildered foreigners.

  • "Go you up that"

    Classic.

The warmest, friendliest race on the planet. North or South.

  • smif said wkd is the drink

  • this makes me miss Moneyglass, cant wait to go back!

  • he does silage at ours antrim man.

  • this guy is a typical Ulster farmer.....phrases suchs a "I couldnt mind the half of it!" and "hes a decent man!"....I am from Donegal and he reminds me of a lot of people

  • Great. Inspired secret camera work.

We do have a tendency to add 'right' at the end of every phrase, as in 'Ye go down that road, right, and take left, right, and then ye're there, right'.

But he was very patient with you dense Yanks. 'Do ye want to go? There's no point me telling ye if ye don't want to go' I mean, he had to spell 'Joe' for ye.

  • Moneyglass is some place

  • Really funny...do you want to go! lol, no we are just talking for the sake of it...a youtube classic!

  • You'll see a road going to the right! Don't take it. ... Classic

  • God dam yanks! Listen!!!

  • @rickbot76 A lot of southern Irish can barely understand Northern Irish. The accents are super strong up north. Plus he said cav instead of calf. That doesn't make any sense to anyone on Earth.

  • aye u tell him u sent me heard this on U105 LOL

  • @pcfish913 Its in Northern Ireland actually

  • @dirtynorris our lady of lourdes chapel moneglass. very rural, middle of nowhere, I live two miles away :)

  • @pcfish913 It's because Mr Mc Coy has told all his relatives and friends.

  • @eyfatboy he told no one, everyone came to him an said about it, an also word of mouth

  • @gforce1710 It seems the great-great grandparents of the man in the video (Jim) were married in the church that once stood where the cemetary is now. That church had quite a history and Jim was able to bring pictures and a great story back to his family in Chicago/Springfield

  • @pcfish913

Yeah , You can still see the four Corners of the old church.

  • @pcfish913 what the hell is a cemetery?

  • @pixierock12 Are you serious? Why don't you use a dictionary first? A cemetery is nothing else then a graveyard...

  • @Gushik3n we don't say cemetary, tis a very proper word, i'm quite sure I dont have 1 proper word in my vocabulary with my accent.
