As far as I'm concerned, there arn't enough pucks flying into the crowds. I haven't seen one puck fly into the stands since 2005, I got hit once on the shoulder, but didn't hurt and I gave the puck to my nephew, it was better than catching a baseball because pucks in the stands are so rare.

That's one lucky girl. The last time a girl was hit in the head with a flying puck was in Columbus, Ohio. A Columbus Blue Jacket player by accident knocked the puck over the glass and it hit a 13 year old girl. Unfortunately, that same girl died from her head injury two days later. This is one little girl attending a Philadelphia Flyers' game that was lucky to be alive from that.
