Hi bhawna ur recipe looks wonderful and i tried but the grains stick to each other(geela ho gya) unlike urs ,separated,i used 1 cup soaked rice for 30 mins and used 2 cups warm water, what should i do?

I live in the USA. Try to find out locally what brand works great where you live. Go to appliance store and try to read about products you want to purchase specially features. Hope this helps...here in the USA, there are so many brands, LG, kenmore and many others..
Bhavna, is it the cloves and sultanas that give it the sweet flavour? I will try it for sure. Where I live in Melbourne Australia I make full use of Vietnamese and Chinese wet markets. Not exactly wet markets but a close resemblance. So I use a lot of Chilli, garlic, ginger, onion etc in a lot of my cooking.. BTW you have beautiful hands too..
You did a fantastic job! I am not I am not Indian but was looking for a wonderful vegetarian recipe for Thanksgiving for my 3 vegie kids. Thanks so much. We love Indian food..See you on the cooking channel one day
You are most welcome to leave this channel if you don't enjoy but do not spoil or spread negetives around....If I speak in Gujrati, not everybody will understand and Gujju people already know how to make these dishes so I make for other people so that they can try different cuisine recipes...Got it?
Thanx and nothing wiht accent, it's just god give natural speech and since English is not my mother language, not very fluent at it..but try my best to explain so people can enjoy the best of Indian food...
@parekhharshj when you live in the US, it is hard to retain an ethnic accent. What happens is that your accent fuses with a local accent to give rise to something different.

Rice cooks better when you bring it to a boil and then low the heat to the lowest, it creates steam and cooks to perfection
