Most western European free enterprize republics have liberal firearm laws.Especially;Switzerland,Franceand Italy.It's the socialist regimes i.e. Denmark,Swedan,England and the Netherlands that have restrictive firearm laws along with government meddling in just about everything else.The ones with the most restrictive firearm laws also have the highest crime rates.

I get into this every time I meet a European. It's starting to become a waste of time. These people don't want freedom. They're perfectly happy in buying the government propaganda that "government knows best" and "nobody needs a gun" and "paying lots of taxes is good". Europe is a lost cause.
No wonder Europe has had a dozen or so dictators in the last century, and we got rid of our last one 235 years ago before the country was even founded. Closest thing we've had is Obama.
@Supermassively It's better off for our country if the socialist / communist radicals in europe destroy themselves - one less threat to our freedom. We need to be more concerned with protecting our own freedom from their radical left-wing counterparts in Democrat Party which has just become an umbrella party of the radical left.
This is the whole concept upon which our second amendment was formulated. Our Constitution recognizes the rights as "unalienable". Gun haters want to cover this up, but the whole belief our forefathers lived by was we have GOD GIVEN rights that are affirmed, not just allowed, by the Constitution and its varied bills. This is what makes our nation great and strong. We need to defend our Constitution and hold it up as an example to the poor fools who try to push their lifestyle on us.
Seriously guys, do you really expect the EuroTrash to agree with this. As soon as they start letting the governed fend for themselves the game will be up and those guns will probably be soon pointed at the governing and technocratic classes.
