Spyro: A Hero's Tail-Crocovile Swamp (Part 2)

Okay I know this video is old but Im stuck in this level. When you first enter and break the first light gem, there are 3 pillars that lower/ rise to go to another room. It contains a green dragon egg and a light gem that is in the chest. How do I get the light gem?

I can't pass the part with the swinging axes it's so damn hard but yet so entertaining!

I hate that fact that objects in this game can hit you without any pause (you don't get a few seconds of immunity after being hit, which is a major bummer for this game)

What about the ledge that contains the chest. How do you get up there?(The place wher you found the dragon egg.)
