  • Ahhhh, back in the days where you don't really need paper money notes. Just coins for everything in a tiny gay man coin purse.

  • Poor pigs!

  • Gotta love the man coin purse. LoL.

  • Escape little piggy! Escape and be freeee!

  • 4:30 :DD good)

    his wife is very cutty)

  • She is soooo cute :)

  • This is the hight of film-making of this period. Only in terms of specific famous scenes does Lang's Metropolis (released the same year as this) surpass this movie. In terms of overall acting and cinematography, Sunrise is the most impressive silent film that I've ever seen. Really, it probably was at the top of its art for at least ten years after it was made.

  • this is my second time watching and its already my favorite movie of ALL TIME! like the other person said: Its got everything.

  • anyone know what city this was filmed in ?

  • yeah..that's kinda sad with the pigs..but then again, it is and was either that or tortured and slaughtered...that's just...life, i guess = (

  • This is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen.

  • the pigs at the fair are suffering being put on display like that. this is most unMysterious. animals are not toys.

  • yes the razor stabbing is very antiquated jealous chivalry.

  • I laughed so hard at 4:35 and the proceeding scene.

  • omg..the sets!!! Amazing! Blows my mind every time I watch this film.

  • Pig on the loose!

  • Yup, that's Hitchcock's theme.

  • Is that Hitchcok theme song at 3:39?

  • @yuanyelele Yes, it is

  • Most certainly a textbook of silent film techniques, a visual experimentation and the perfect blend of comedy, romance, drama, fantasy, suspense, horror etc. from Murnau. Not to mention, one of the greatest films ever made.

  • Is the Hitchcock theme original for the movie?

  • With all the unbeatable comedy that came out of the silent era, particularly Keaton and Lloyd, this scene is one of the funniest ever - the naive young couple believing they've damaged the photographer's statue. Priceless.

  • Hi, Prague, and I'm a Keaton fan too! The

    photograph sequence is wonderful, especially

    when he thinks they're newlyweds.

  • Well, in a way, they are, having just reestablished their relationship during the wedding scene. How I love this movie.

  • Awesome!!!
