Did you fabricate some kind of camera mount on your cabin roof? I'd be interested to see your setup. Looks very solid, I've tried simple time lapse drives on a tripod in the passenger front seat but it worked ok...
reminds me of my road trip to amsterdam altough it was like 9 hours less driving for me i still felt like driving onto a new world. the only problem i had was that the gps battery was flat on the way back haha
Haha, it was a 10 year old Garmin GPS which I had to manually insert the GPS coordinates of several waypoints that I wanted to hit. Even then it only gave me a "as the crow flies" distance and such between them. I used it more to keep a closer tab on my orientation and speed.
Well, for someone as directionally challenged as me, I wouldn't trust myself driving an inch outside of the state I live in...or even the city without a GPS.
Great video, thanks for helping me realize the good and the bad memories and I shall cherish them all including this video!
