They can talk, but Angel chooses not to talk. I believe there are some talking ringnecks here on Youtube. Just put "Talking ringnecks" in the search bar and see what pops up.

All of us parrot lovers LOVE our birds' chirps. We have a lovebird that imitates us imitating a snake hissing. We love Zoe's hiss/shriek. You can see it in the vid or Xmas we have on our page it's around min. 4:58 or 5:00

She can fool you sometimes too. If my friend comes in the room and walks up to her she will start the tweet tweet, then suddenly nab him (try to bite him)!

She can be mean, but I understand her, I bought her from a pet store Pet Smart where she languished for about two years. I'm not real crazy about Pet Smart. Check out very carefully anyplace, shop or breeder, before purchasing a parrot. Ask around. Get recommendations, too.

Yeah, I was in this pet store once where and eclectus that looked like Gypsy was in this display case with no perch or toys! Just hamster sawdust and bowls for food and water! That place closed down pretty fast, I suspect their birds were smuggled too by the way they looked and behaved. When they spend a lot of time in a shop they have less interactio with people up close and more time with birds that can be bullies.

Actually, Angel could be a male. I never had her DNA sexed. I just always referred to Angel as a "she". Sometimes you never knw, unless the bird lays an egg, that is. (obviously a female, lol) No eggs from Angel yet and she is between 4 - 5 years old.
