I wish Oprah could expose her then she could rise, though she'll have her fan base always, I wish artists like her could be exposed more so that more people can see 'real talent'. All of these overrated pop stars shaking their azzes with little to no talent is just played out at least for me. Amel is beautiful, talented and a studied musician. @Sonorite, I didn't think of it like that. Amel is so great, I just thought that it's a shame that she isn't exposed on a wider scale so more people can hear how wonderful she is. Oprah came to mind because she seems to have the 'golden' touch' with exposing people. Maybe Ariel doesn't want that. But it would be nice to have the 'tweens' exposed to other than the Rhianna's and Beyonce's.

You will have to look for the Sweetback Cd with this song on it. It actually used to do some back up for Sade as well. Their CD was self titled, Sweetback. I love this song, her voice is so smooth . Sweetback is incredible, they used to work with Sade . I wonder if they are still making music. I really am starting to appreciate jazz more. The music now is so generic, people just follow a formula. Nice beat and rap in the breakdown. But, jazz musicians and singers get into the whole song . Every little note.
