About dowsing go and read about Ideomotor effect. And about "waterlines", water that's beneath the ground doesn't move in lines nor tunnels it just is there, in some places it's closer to the ground and in some further, you could say it's everywhere, this is why dowsing always "works". Once you dig a hole like you did the pressure that's holding it down is released and water starts to condensate in to the hole, don't mean to be disrespectful but you asked for an explanation. ;)
I have not dowsed in years, because THANKFULLY, water lines simply don't need replacing that often! Lol but I was turned on to it by a friend, that at the time I said was full of crap, Lol but he wasn't, and I can only imagine how much exploratory digging he saved me! it was simple to learn and get immediate positive results! No Rocket Surgery involved, meaning I'm sure anyone could do it, except maybe the occaisional person with a magnetic field the stops a watch! Lol try it, it DOES work! :)
I'll say without a doubt that it works. I worked for the city water department for about 5 years and we did it all the time. Works great. Sometimes the groundwater would throw it off but it does work and is pretty damn accurate
I just wiki'd dowsing and they make it sound like a weird b.s. esoteric magic thing. but i distinctly remember being 8 years old and doing it with wire coat hangers in my bedroom at home and located a water pipe below my floor. at the time, i had no idea that dowsing wasn't science and thought there was a simple scientific explanation up until 10 minutes ago when i found that there wasn't one. i had first read about it in a science book, i think, so now I'm confused. does anyone have any idea?
@DoveDancing That does not explain why you can find literally everything using those rods. Oil, gold, diaminds, silver et cetra... Even not walking on the ground but just holding them above a really big map of a certain region.
There are several theories why it works. Some are pretty convincing, others just ridiculous...
I have been Dowsing for quite a few years now on a personal interest basis. My Father introduced me to Dowsing.I use wooden forked branches(I find them easier then method used in the video which I have experimented with before) If you dig a 6 foot hole in many places you will find water, this is not unusual.Often the first thing you pick up on is the longitude and latitude lines of the Earth (like a grid) every couple of feet which mark North South Easte and West.Happy to answer any questions :)
i went out dowsing today and i found 3 sppots i marked them in a lowwer lying area on my feild. im hoping to dig and find something liek this to make a pond, thinkitll work? i hope im not wasting my time lol i feel dumb
if ya do it right then you will find water, it took me a couple try practicing to get good at it if you can really be good at it lol, but now that i know how to hold the rods I can find water almost everytime
@parachutepilot7 lol iidk if this shit works i mean its weird as fuck and i didnt smoke a joint b4 trying it. i went out and did it last nite found a spot "it kept picking up" started digging im gunna finish digging today i got it 4 feet deep.. nothing
this actually works. i used it in my backyard to find a gas pipe. I was taught to do this by a gas line worker who was unable to use magnets and other ways to find pipes.
i just done it with two clothes hangers, so i dont know if it has too be a particular type or not, but i know it worked for me with clothes hangers so...
I've always used ones that were about 2 foot long, not as short as what you did. I've found a lot of stuff with those babies. I don't know why it works either...it's probably something to do with the magnetic domains in the topsoil, and maybe even something having to do with the electricity in the body too. No idea, but yup, it works.
my buddy showed me this the other day... at first i thought he was cracken.. then i tried it and it does work. i couldnt belive it but it does... anyone who doesnt belive has never tried. also i saw him use a peach branch that was forked.. when he got over the water the branch bent towards the ground.
just heard it from some older folks who had done this on their farms to find good water holes for their cattle and they said that it would work for this too so i tried and, what do you know it actually works hahaha

It doesnt look like a seven foot hole! I'll admit; it seems deeper, especially when you have to dig clay!!
ClintL63 1 month ago
buuuuut what if you dig a hole ten feet away also? will that other hole get water too? thats the real test to see if it works guys.

water holds an electrical charge. the metal rods encounter the electrical current and react to it is the best explanation i can give.... nice demo!

@parachutepilot7 So when you hit water how soon after do you stop digging?
1991araaron 1 month ago
@1991araaron
about5 minutes after I stopped water started coming up and that washed away enough dirt for me to see the water line

It works because of magnetic force.
