  • Lol dude, you're hilarious!!

  • adam fucking hates ben

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hebrew should be the neer of the campus lol

  • Modern media would be much improved if all commentators had to go through Adam's grilling. I don't blame him for walking out though.

  • haha he mad rawr :) lol

  • hahaha "its been 5 and a hald min since our last project" and i totally agree with ben. The election is pointless and the students really have no control in anything. The same ones who have hold control, th enes that run the students and and school, hold the final answers. In the end, the only turn of events the student prez might alter would be fish sticks on friday, instead of monday Ben, your awesome

  • I think there should just be a "Ben" show and a "Adom" show so that you can both do what you want. There is too much conflict in the " Adom and Ben" show???? Dosen't work very well in my opinion???

  • Do you and Adam get along? Seems like Adam gets annoyed at you alot.

  • I will tell you 1 thing I am glad about: That you left many good points he made and such in this video. Even though you were very much an ass, Ben, it is good (to me) that you did not modify his viewpoint to fit your desires and such. You left what he said relatively unedited, despite the fact of how it makes you look. That, to me, shows good maturity and sincerity in regards to seriousness on your part.

  • Thank you! I consider it an honor to have received such a mixed compliment!

    Ben

  • This video was my favorite, I laughed the whole time! It's much better when Ben and Adam are interacting rather than just one of them in front of the camera.

  • You should totally drop a shout out to Kiwi in your next vid :]

  • Adam,

You are just as hilarious as you were back around Jasper Court....some 20 yrs. ago!!

    Way to go!!

    JLTK Mom

  • Both positions have validity.

While the student president has less than significant power the position is far more than irrelevant.

However, it doesn't surprise me that your personalities match your positions in terms of serious vs. unserious.

You two make a great pair for this program of yours. I'd like, however, to see more of both of you conducting interviews where possible. The contrast is great.

  • haha, good luck getting Adam involved again... he's still pretty pissed off. It could be because of me.

Or it might just be that time of the month.

  • Just go and talk to him about what he envisions for the program. I'd expect he probably wishes it to be a little more grounded in seriousness.

Take the old Siskel and Ebert. They not only were very different but actually didn't much care for each other. Now, I believe that's more extreme than you and Adam's case, but what I point it out for is it made for a great program. That's the trick, getting two hosts who are are in some ways compatible but different enough for contrast.

  • Consider the parallel between the debate on the value of the elected campus office and the value of the Adam & Ben Show. Neither may have absolute power, they both clearly have potential significance in the eyes of those who value it.

Well, just like the campus population that sees the value in the elected office, I see the value in this program continuing, but not because it's factually, and absolutely powerful, but it is potentially significant... and entertaining.

    Hope you work it out.

  • How'd it go?

  • eeehhhhhh it's complicated. I like your ideas, but real life just doesn't always work like Siskel and Ebert. I'm going to do a more serious video where I interview some of the students around here about the elections, and see what he thinks after that.

    Ben

  • That sounds great.

You're right about it being complicated, the S&E thing was just a crude illustration.

  • Is there actually a beer called He-brew or was that just a really bad pun?

ps great stuff keep going. I love the constant struggle of what's important and being serious with just having a laugh.

  • look it up, it's a fo' reals Jewish beer!

  • Made by Shmaltz,

    The Chosen Beer,

Mesiah Bold: The beer you've been waiting for,

    Rejewvenator and Jewbelation.

    ROFLMAO

    That made my day

  • also, was that a Flight of the Concords reference

  • That's Oscar-worthy right there!

Ben is so right though, it's not that important of a race. The most important thing they'll learn is not how to run an office but how to get IN. It's not what you know but who you know, you know.

Adam, don't let him push you around! If he acts immature, be twice as immature back! If you say something funnier than he does he'll pout and start to be more serious.

  • 1) yay adam is here now!

    2) 2:40 he looked seriously pissed off

    3) ben, take stuff more seriously

    4) adam looked kinda fit...::* towards the end

    5) Im a vegetarian too!

    6) I have alot of points now...

    7) I sent you guys a link to a sex trafficing video, maybe make a show about that stuff. It needs to be stopped.

    8) cupcake over regular cake OBVIOUSLY! duh..

  • I know, I bring out the best in him, don't I?

    Ben.

  • sarcasm much??..

what made me laugh was at the start of the video you said 'on an serious note' really? really ben??..

  • I got serious! ...for 5 seconds, and then I stopped.

    There's a limit, you know. :)

  • Yes, but, by that same accord, you can't always be "on." It gets bland, boring and annoying and only serves to alienate you and harm yourself, your reputation, et cetera more than not. Depending on how you feel about being anti-social and having that good or close of friends, you might want to sincerely reconsider the whole "always joking" way of doing things.

  • I dunno, that's just my opinion... In the end, you're going to do what you want to do. The main thing I want to say is: Accept the consequences of your actions, be prepared for them and deal with them as they come. And also do learn from them. Be sure that the choices you make are not ones you will end up regretting.

  • I kind of agree with ben, the only thing being decided is who's going to have the presidency on their resume.

    P.S. welcome back adam.
