  • shame they dont make this anymore.

  • @tedmaulz I would agree with you on that subject, We need more SV1000 & SV650 & a SV850 just for kicks. Nice bikes at lest the first two. But the idea of a SV850 would be nice too. I would buy one !

  • My mom taught there was a motorcycle downstairs. Thx to my suwoofer.

  • these pipes are two big and ugly - just like my brother(ha)!

not a bad sound though - heard better(leo vince, two brother's etc)

  • God damn it!!!!! If I watch one more vid of some lame asshole who doesn't rev his bike properly, I'm gonna flip out and murder someone!!! The title of this vid just pisses me off more! Thunderous my ass. Your a pussy and you know it. Rev the damn thing. It wont hurt it.

  • my SV100o used two exhausts ducati sound incredible

  • Why oh why oh why did Suzuki discontinue this beautiful machine...............: (

  • lol I love the dad in the background complaining, sounds like my dad haha

  • that does sound good!

  • these sound better than yosh cans, i have had both, ti-force is a deeper note, yosh are just loud.

your exhausts sit lower than mine, you must have earlier system, different bracket maybe?

  • My SV1000S has Yosh cans and sounds EXACTLY like that... incidentally, IMO it's a very underrated bike overall, I love mine to death, but you gotta get helibars for them.

  • wow man thats soooo nice exhaust

  • That sounds so sexy!

    Especially when Idle

  • looks and sounds damn sexy.... ok guys this or a 98 r1 dont know which to but

  • Oh my god that sound.

    that sounds incredible!

  • I have a question.Would the bike still have a similar sound without this exhaust or any other exhaust?

  • When parked always turn your handlebars full-lock to the left, that way more pressure if put on your kickstand and less chance of your bike falling over.

  • wow i think ill just skip right to a sv1000 and avoid the 650s :)

  • i know this dude ask a somewat similar question, but how is the rear passenger seat handle grip bar thing connected to the bike and how did u take it off?

  • wow, i didnt realize it was that unique. it's not that big of a secret, and i didn't plan it that way... but I bought a Suzuki rear seat cal from the dealer. it came with a mounting bracket that replaces the hand bar. that allowed me to swap between the seat cal or the seat itself.

  • ok so if i buy a sv1000s, in the near future, it will come with that ugly rear passenger handle thing, so ill have to do is .......fuck it ill tell the ppl at dealer how to get that off, ty anyways.

  • all you have to do is unscrew the seat handle, its not that hard. it screws in under the seat

  • @tiforcesv

    You mean "cowl?"

  • Nice sound!

Btw, how did you get rid of that passenger grip, while keeping the original seat?

  • it's a rear/passenger seat cover. I picked it up at a suzuki dealer. Just two bolts and it clicks on and off just like the seat does.

  • That sound is incredible! Really a beautiful sound! +8hp on the exhaust system? That's good! I guess that is with a high-flow air filter together?

  • Well I installed a K&N air filter... Dunno

  • does this suzuki has a gear driven cams?

  • yes.

Well, semi- gear driven, there is a chain that goes to a single gear, that gear in turn runs the intake and exhaust cams simultaneously. And they're stright cut as you can hear.

  • Our SV's turn 121 at the CRANK stock, at least my '07 does. You know how they love to advertise the biggest # at the dealership. So I would say with that system and a power Com. he is probably running 122 at the rear wheel.

I'm also unsure about the difference in conversions for the BHP and HP, they are close I know but not exact.

  • Hi, my K3 naked makes 107.8 bhp at the rear wheel and has a PC3 USB, K&N air filter and a pair of Fuel cans with the baffles left in. Does your bike make 122 bhp at the crank or the wheel ? Incidentally, I recently put in a pair of NGK Iridium plugs and they've improved the low end smoothness to a huge degree, if you've not tried them yourself.

    Mike

  • The 2005+ models are a little more powerful than earlier bikes, but still, with these modifications 122HP is very optimistic - My own 2006 SV1000S is equipted with a Yoshimura RS3 race system, BMC air filter and a PC3 USB with a custom map and it makes 114HP at the rear wheel (tested). This is up 8 or 9HP from the stock bike.

With regards to the NGK Iridium plugs, I never found the SV lacking in low-end smoothness to begin with.

  • Now clean off the seat, lolzers.

  • 2 words: dream bike

  • "Why you got it runnin?"

    "Making a video!"

    Haha, sounds sick.

  • rev next time........

  • you can beat a egg but can t beat a v twin

  • is there a difference between a sports bike and a street bike?

  • none.

  • Nice bike!

  • great sound! Wish they made one for my old ass Kat

  • Cool bike

  • nice, now all you need is the lower fairing

  • "Where the fuck are you going?"

    LOL!

  • i have the same bike. Love the sound of yours. People must imagine a helicopter hovering while behind you at a light!

  • wat is the top speed of a sv 1000

  • I've had mine up to 176, but it only happened one time. it was the perfect conditions though. my full tiforce exhaust system claims to add 8hp and i had a power commander installed. it was a cold day, no wind, and a very long road. under a factory setup it's top speed is 165 i think.

  • Thats fuckin mooooovin man! I think thats what the STOCK ducati 1098's are supposed to do. But the best thing about this bike is that it'll out handle any hyper sport bike on the road. Street fighter bikes are the shit!!!
