Ah, thanks very much for noticing this song and for sharing your story. The Buddhist world has it's own share of problems such as you describe. All faiths involve people; and once flawed human beings are involved such misfortunes are inevitably to come about at some point. I'm quite pleased that you got some inspiration from this.

this made us cry...2 years ago we stopped going to our temple because our teacher left and a raciest Japanese man took over saying westerners would never get it. we would always read from the book befor each darma talk and we would recite the 3 treasures thank you so much for this...i think we will do our version of this song too now.. and your singing is fine...it actuly sounds more like a chant then a song and i think its vary nice :)

@LadyMultiple I hope that one day you will be able to do your own You Tube version of the song. That would be quite a thrill for me. Because I am still plagued with and unenlightened human ego, I always ask that a notation be made that I wrote the song. (I still love getting credit. How funny.)
