At ski dubai how hard really do the sloped get, Im an advanced skier and i run black and red lines, im planning to go but im not sure if the slopes would be hard enough for me.
@evilmascman i am advanced skier too and i have been there the slopes really arent that challenging and the skis that they rent you are shit also there pretty much isnt anything else than 1 big slope but still its pretty interesting experience i mean skiing in middle of desert
I've been to the resort. You have to pay an hourly rate, rent the boards (or skiis), cold weather jacket, water proof boots and cold weather pants. Beanies and gloves have to be bought. It's not bad, but it was crowed when I went.

I just wanted to say that the ice isn't fake. Its not powder, if you pick it up without gloves on, it WILL freeze your hand. & to all the people saying they'd rather stay where they are an ski, well, good for you. Ski Dubai was made for those who don't have snow yearly. It gets pretty boring sunbathing and swimming all year long, so this is pretty exciting to us. Don't be such a buzz kill.

Yep. I've vacation in Dubai many times. I really like it there. They have amazing architecture especially the skyscrapers. But I rather live in Laos or USA. Laos have tall jungles, misty moutains, waterfalls, blue lagoons and wild elephants. It's more of a paradise for me than Dubai.

And as for them being able to do things we can't, all of the architecture they have over there isn't their own. It is mainly Dutch and German. Americans have made a good name for themselves through building great things such as the World Trade Center (which Arabs destroyed). The Arabs are not superior... just wealthier.

Yep. I've vacation in Dubai many times. I really like it there. They have amazing architecture especially the skyscrapers. But I rather live in Laos or USA. Laos have tall jungles, misty moutains, waterfalls, blue lagoons and wild elephants. It's more of a paradise for me than Dubai.

I wish I could go here. My uncle is in the United States Navy, and he was sent to Saudi Arabia, where he went to an indoor ski resort. I'm not sure if it was this one or another, but the whole idea is really awesome.

The fact is the UAE is not doing well. To say that people were running because they couldn't pay for the cars is just ignorant. They couldn't sell them or their household goods, like T.V.'s, furniture..etc. Some ran, but not the executives I know . Everyone knows the UAE is going to be the first country to run out of oil. They went into securities and funds and lost like the rest of us in the world financial markets. Google the Dec meeting of the M.E. countries and the decisions on expats.

lol well i dont need you to explain the economics of dubai as am from UAE + an economist. you want to debate? am up for it. and people who leave their cars are less then 1% of total workforce in one way it indirectly benifited the city, 2000 cars less and 2000 less jobs to pay for. there is always new labor. ex infact dubai gets 25000 tourists per month and and creates about 2000+ jobs every month. dubai economy have recovered and we are out of the worst part of the crises.
