  • 0:03 his skins whiter than the box lol

  • @IXECSTACYXI I'm proud of my paleness. Tanning kills and ages you prematurely.

  • just got my parts today and my hd was only 1 tb and cost 150 from the floods and its normally 50. fml

  • id be careful with that psu.

  • @jackzvid I was. It works great, using it right now.

  • Zaranyzerak how can PC video games that are on DVD ROMS be able to have 1080p as a resolution when DVD's are not high definition formats as you've said before o_O?

  • @soul71000 movies on DVD's are written for DVD players, making the movie around 4Gb. When you burn .avi files on a DVD, you can fill it with around 5-6 movies (but most DVD players can't read that). Games is an entire different story, that is just a program executing on a high resolution (excluding the fact that you install a game from a DVD before playing it). You can make a program of 1Kb that is 1080p, but (for example) just a black screen with a dot moving around.

  • Why is he sitting on the floor. The way to build a computer is to sit on a chair at a table with all the parts neatly arranged on the table...

  • @jbanneran Not really an option when you don't have a table. The ex took it with her.

  • @jbanneran Because he sold the table to buy the computer..........!!

  • the coolermaster v10 is a beast not that cpu cooler

  • buget pc eh? am spending 2500 dallors on parts for mines gonna be beast.

and it's gonna last for years

  • no gpu?

  • @jetpack1986 Not in the budget. The integrated graphics on the motherboard are fine for now. I don't do a lot of PC gaming anyway, so that can wait a bit.

  • CHRISTMASSSSSSSSSSSS!

  • all your doing is opening boxes but somehow it's SO watchable

  • this made me feel so good about my build i7 950 gigabyte x58a-ud3r corsair hx 650 coolermaster 902 gts 450 oc 6gb ddr3 1600 mhz ram nec dvd burner tt contact 29

  • im looking for a new high end gaming pc can any one tell me how much it would cost in AUS $ :) thanks

  • @0TheCompMan0 I paid like 1300.00 US for the parts to build mine, Actually I uploaded a (all be it) video on the parts I used to build it.

  • Just wondering, is this build more of a budget-minded one? Sorry I don't know too much about computer parts or this channel.

  • @speedvaxer Yes, all the parts cost a little over 500 dollars including shipping.

  • @Zaranyzerak Oh that's very reasonable for a fast computer like that one. Thank you for the videos, I'll definitely watch your process of building a computer.

  • @Zaranyzerak With the OEM edition of windows, is the product supported with all the new service pack editions etc.? thanks

  • @ICanFlyHonest The only difference with the OEM version is you don't get any fancy packaging or documentation (other than a basic installation manual in the DVD case). Otherwise, it's exactly the same with the same support as the non-OEM version. It's still Windows, no matter what kind of package it came in.

  • @Zaranyzerak actually the OEM has a downside in EULA license! you're only allowed to install it to only ONE computer! and that computer is the motherboard! so whenever you feel like changing the motherboard consider another retail windows software!

  • Ahh... The pleasures of DIY systems integration... Or was that "Argh!!!"

I admit it's a lot fun when you have the time to custom pick every last nut and bolt and immensely satisfying to have all components up and running after all is done. New mobo's with everything built-in offer no challenge compared to the old days.

  • We don't want to see you we want to see the products.

  • @DennisGimbergsson I do show the products. Several times. Oh but I'm TERRIBLY sorry, I didn't realize you spoke for the entire world (psst! You don't). My video. I'll show what I want, thanks. It's as much about me as it about the contents of the packages.

  • @DennisGimbergsson we dont wanna read your comments we wanna be free..... but we cant chose so what makes you think you can. dohoho! xD

  • AH! The smell of a new computer, is that an ASUS Mobo I smell, Why yes it is.

Run your RAM in dual channel mode, Artic 5 Silver Thermal Paste. (But U prob already know this since the PC was assembled a while ago.)

BTW: Nero is over rated back when it was Nero 5 & 6 it was better

  • @quigon87yt I haven't used NERO for awhile, but I remember that the older versions were better than the new ones.

  • Video #666? This machine is without a doubt EVIL....

  • Did you partition the HDD? I tend to split into at least 2; the OS and media partitions.

  • @DaveSimonH Nah, I never bother with partitions. Never really saw the point of it, to be honest. To me, that's just limiting the amount of space you have for things...I like to have ALL the space available to me at ALL times so I can cram data into every last byte of it... :) I keep things in their own directories, that's organized enough for me.

  • hay you found the box cutter! where was it

  • @LoganJKelly It was...erm...I don't remember.

  • man I think you would benefit so much from having a proper graphics card you can get them quite cheap these days

  • YEAH NEW PC

Hehehe always nice to get new stuff like that isn't it?

  • Hi Sean!

With all your graphic editing etc. Is the motherborad graphiccard really enough for your needs?

  • @daniellandgrens Yes, because most editing/animation software doesn't use graphics cards for processing - it's all based on the CPU power and RAM. So while a kick-ass graphics cards would make gaming and watching HD movies a bit slicker, it really would have much (if any) impact on the video editing stuff I do.

  • @Zaranyzerak *wouldn't

  • @Zaranyzerak Ok cheers!

Can^t wait to see when u start it up.

Windows with empty harddrive and your set up would be nearly instant log in :-)

  • Thank you sean for making these vlogs about the process of building a computer!

  • Also im using the DDR3 version of your Motherboard.......Asus is great

  • @dogincat12 Nice! Yeah, I've been wanting to give an ASUS board a spin for quite a while. Loving it so far!

  • @dogincat12 what is the exact model for your mobo im looking for a new ddr3 one ?

  • i Just built a computer....the good thing about building one is you can constantly add and remove parts and upgrade.

  • @dogincat12 Definitely! I like knowing that I have total control over every single piece that goes into it. Plus I made sure to get a board that would allow for plenty of upgrades over the years.

  • if so which model is it!. Great video btw, can't wait for the build

  • Great parts mate..! Is the graphics card integrated or are you salvaging it from the other pc. If so

  • @recorps1 Integrated. The old card was an AGP card, and there's only PCI-Express on the new board. The integrated graphics are ATI Radeon HD 4200 with the AMD 785G Chipset.

  • @Zaranyzerak Pity, I'd have picked a dedicated GPU, such as a Radeon 5870. :-)

  • @ufopsi

Do you know a video editing software that can use the gpu as co processor? Just asking because unless such exists putting an expensive video card on a system made for Video editing doesn't offers much. Hell next upgrade probably will be memory right?

  • Comment removed

  • @ufopsi

Through CUDA even non Quadro cards can add their Power. True such is to be said but hey :) there is place enough for upgrades like that in the future.

Hell I remember going from a P4 over to a AMD X2 3200+, yup the first payable dual core pretty much. Damn multiple cores work!

  • my are you building one instead of buying one?

  • @fierfly25 Yep, Cheaper that way, plus I was only spending money on parts I actually need/want.

  • @Zaranyzerak cool. I hope u have fun and that it works!

  • 666th video, bad plan.

  • so will us chatters tomarrow get to see the awesomeness? or do u have new years plans?

  • YAY! 666th VID!!

  • Enjoy the computer my friend.

    666 videos.

  • Wheres the graphics card? If the motherboard has onboard graphics Id sugges not using them for medium-high games or demanding applications. You can get a good card say a ATI 4650 or a 5650 for about $40-50

  • @Lethalcleric Wasn't in the budget. Graphics card is a luxury item, I was only concerned with getting a fast, functional system on the cheap. Plus no AGP slot on this MoBo, so I couldn't use my old card anyway. But it doesn't really matter, since the onboard graphics are better than my card. I'm not a big PC gamer, so it really doesn't make a big difference to me. Video rendering is all CPU-based.

  • 666 videos

  • Your computer is going to become possessed because this was your 666th video

  • @JesusOfSuburbia94 Never! Xp

  • Nice. :)

  • That's the same CPU fan I bought, good stuff.

  • whhaaa planning to overclock I see!

  • I have only needed over 4gb of ram when videoediting when in CS4, 4gb in W7 64 is plenty

  • Zaranyzerak you got windows 7and 2gbs of ram, damn you got it made mate XD!

  • This is going to be interesting :)

  • YOU HAVE 666 VIDEOS NOW!!! =O

  • Congrats on the new system build. Just a heads-up - you mentioned thermal paste for the Cooler Master heatsink/fan - well, since your CPU is a retail version it actually comes with a decent-enough stock heatsink/fan combo with "thermal pad" that sits between the heatsink and CPU, saving a need for separate thermal paste.

  • @Stinger2578 Yeah, stay tuned for Part 2 where I actually discovered that... ;)

  • Oh and I have OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler which seems to be very similar to the one you have.

  • I have the same motherboard! And as I said in a previous video comments, I have Athlon II x4 620 processor. I also have 4GB RAM and 1.5 TB HDD. We really have very similar PCs. :) At least I can brag that I have BD-ROM and you don't. :P

  • so they boxed the paperwork?

  • this looks useful

  • I don't your level of tech sav, but first thing I would do is get those parts off the carpet. Last thing you want is to have to return some parts due to esd. Hope everything goes well!

  • @gatsu08106 Nah, static electricity is rarely an issue here. The air isn't dry enough. Plus as you'll see I'm very anal about dis-charging whenever I'm handling computer parts.

  • Are you going to mass produce your DVDs? The LightScribe process is quite slow, around 20-25 min per label...

  • @73trond No, producing them on demand. If they suddenly take off like crazy then I'll look into other options, obviously.

  • awesome, gogogo

  • i love building pc's it a hobby for me as much as collecting dvds hope it post :D

  • Do a Dead Space 2 Demo Impressions video!!!! Please ^_^

  • @kferree126 See previous response in the comments.

  • @Zaranyzerak Yeah I saw that. Someone beat me to the chase haha.

  • 666 vids! cheers ^^

  • @bobbyrox321 Hehehe...kinda appropriate THIS would be THAT video, eh? ;)

  • @bobbyrox321 OMG i saw that to evil # lol

  • Do you like Ghost Rider Comics? and Conan Comics?

  • @janhall01 I do indeed! Though I've read precious few of both of them...been on my "really need to check out more of those" lists for ages.

  • dead space 2!

  • @yellowflash345 What? Where??? Oh, I get it. I've downloaded the demo, waiting to play it until I can do a First Impressions vid for everyone. Hopefully next week some time.

  • @Zaranyzerak ya got it
