For those that actually know a time in entertainment when Talent was required to be a star, this episode is seriously lacking that element. Usually their guest stars were chosen in good taste. that's not so for this particular episode.
Yay! I love impersonators, especially when they do impersonations of people who have already died. If done right, it's like those people never died at all. My dad can do W.C. Fields too, as well as Grover from Sesame Street, Marvin Martian, and Sylvester Jr. I however can only do one voice: Rodney Dangerfield. I've been practicing him ever since I first saw Genie impersonate him in Aladdin. Recently I have also been able to do Yogi Bear, but only one line (and it's not even a catchphrase).
Well, his Fozzie was not perfect but his Kermit was spot on and as soon as he stopped trying to make a sweet Miss PPiggy voice and got all into angry-Miss-Piggy THAT was great, too!
Yeah the Miss Piggy one was great! XD A little too cruel for Kermit though, I mean one Miss Piggy karate chopping him is bad enough without others getting into the act. I did like how Milton impersonated her temper and actually got Miss Piggy with a chop though! XD
Ok maybe it's because I've been watching the Muppet Show for the past week on youtube, but he sounds absolutely nothing like the muppets at all. Not even close.
No, he really did a bad job on those muppet impressions. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong (from my childhood) but I think he did a much better job with his Robin Hood and Scrooge specials.
We honestly didn't know who he was suppose to be until his comments made it obvious. Apart from Miss Piggy - his nose hold gave it away, but it didn't sound like her either.
Anyone else notice that when a Whatnot seems to be pulling a face like in the opening number they seemed to be pulling their "nose" into their mouth? I think Scooter did it the most in later seasons.
I get to put down the first comment. I'm a die-hard muppet fan and I read up on the opening number; the voices are done by Louise Gold, while we can only guess who's performing the trios' mannerisms. I love it, they run around at the end with chaos all around them, but continue singing. At least they're consistent.

Kermit: "Gonzo, I've never heard of anything as ridiculous as a "Dancing Chicken! ..."
Gonzo: "...how about a "talking frog"?"
The undisputable proof for Gonzo being not as dumb as he often seems;
I LOVE this comment. *grin*
