get the sick bags out its student wankers......hijacking working class campaigns.....big suprise a fuckin student, and a fuckin posh bitch.......................retards middle class woman...claiming to be oppressed.hilarious.
"Over 140 people are due to join their socialist worker's party" - oh dear. The Socialist Worker's party's dominance over events like these tarnishes the discussion of ideas that could change the world. They're glorification of Trotsky (a man who had his own butler and ate off Romanov plates whilst claiming solidarity with the workers, for goodness sake) I find quite simply regressive. Oh well, that's my view.
Why does the Socialist Workers Party never show any solidarity to the Socialist Party of England or Wales (or Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition), the Scottish Socialist Party, the Workers Revolutionary Party, the Alliance of Workers Liberty, Solidarity or the Socialist Equality Party?

What a fucking joke - 'the workers united will never be defeated' - none of them are fucking workers, just middle-class student's and sponging social drop outs, bunch of cunts. The EDL is far better at representing the working class than those twats
Unbelievable all those people hating on Martin Smith and the SWP... Never have I encountered so much sectarian bullshit as in Britain. My experience in the SWP has been very positive, and I got to know Martin Smith as a very knowledgeable speaker (especially on Jazz!), and a very constructive activist. For all you cyber-purists, this is a CLOSING RALLY, not a theoretical lecture.. at this point we already had 200 in depth meetings.. You could of course attend or check out the programme..
I see Martin Smith is as cringeworthy as ever. Isn't he a character off Little Britain? The working-class needs to start organising itself independently along anti-authoritarian, non-hierarchical lines, not follow buffoons like the SWP central committee.
So what is not radical about Capitalism richard? Is it not the radical amounts of people without food and water or basica resources for life. Is it not the radical amounts of people who strive working themselves down being grinded by the system so a radically small amount of people can sup on anything they want and have drivers and more than two homes e.t.c e.t.c what nuance and appreciation of the complexities have you brought to the table? What are you working towards. You slacktavist.
how many people starve in capitalist countries a year? i don't know but i don't belive its that many
how many starve in canada, britian or the united states?
how many starve in north Korea?
im new to this argument because i thought everyone already agreed with me so now im genuinely interested, are lots of people starving under capiotalism? where ? who?
Simplistic, populist ranting especially from the guy (Martin Smith)at the end who resembles a sort of marxist michael caine. Not a shred of nuance or appreciation for the compiexities of the problems facing leftist politics today, just a boyish, aggressive call to arms. This will do nothing to further the left's struggle. This is exactly the type of asinine radical politics that is allowed by the prevailing powers. In fact they think it's amusing.
@ButherLi55ett Well historically they've always put there money where their mouth is and have got stuck in when it has all kicked off, ie poll tax riot. Plus some of the stunts have been good. All this appeals far more to workers than what the Trots have to offer. And yeah, the politics is basically good. No vanguards, no democratic centralism etc. Workers defining their own struggles and fighting them rather than lame transtional demands.
@Jimisonjons I didn't say anything about credit. I said that when it all kicked off, they got stuck in. What did the Trots do, meanwhile? They said they'd grass them up!
I always sing it in a way that feels more natural and scans better to me, but everyone else does it like in this and then I look stupid. :P I think you can hear me do it wrong, actually (just).
Great rally, great Marxism. The workers united will never be defeated!

@FreekBlauwhof There's a reason people don't like the SWP and Martin Smith. Just ask the whole Doncaster branch who recently resigned.
