  • Is this Even a Sport lmao!!!!

  • yeah, the Boston fans are crazy ... I even used the fans cheering from this match for the ProRB logo clip before each DVD match.

  • is that real cheering or was that just put in to make the match seem more exciting?

  • No offense mrbobevans, but you couldn't have seen Bud Muhlheisen play.

Fyi, I know personally that Swain stated that Kane "is the best ever." That

    is high praise.

  • Best players of all time

    Kane Waselenchuk

    Cliff Swain

    Sudsy Monchik

    Jason Maninno

    Jack Huczek

    Rocky Carson

  • Sudsy had a huge change to put it away at around 1:20 - just passing it. He missed some put-aways.

  • You would be right except for the fact Cliff hit the serve at what I'm guessing is about 180 mph, and it jumped out from the corner and skidded down the wall. Not such an easy opportunity.

  • not at 1:20, AROUND 1:20. After the serve he was in the front court and didn't roll it. He's done it tons of times before - he's Sudsy, one of the greatest!!

  • Fair enough

Maybe he was having an off day =P

Cliff seemed to be controlling most of the play

  • Thanks for the video, but I could do without the music.

  • Are you people watching the same video I'm watching? If this is the best Cliff and Sudsy have to offer, Kane is in another league. I just watched the 2008 US Open and Kane looks like he's in fast forward compared to this. Not to mention Kane rolled just about everything that touched his racket. Kane's racquetball is at least one level above this video and probably two.

  • >If this is the best Cliff and Sudsy have to offer,

    nooooooo

  • ummmmm... Kane IS in another league, on another planet of untouchable skill. You can see that in the 08' Open. IMO Kane is 1 or 2 levels above anyone who has ever played.

  • Record or skill? Sounds like you're going by pure record #'s. If you're going by skill my vote is...

    Waselenchuk (by far)

    Monchik

    Swain

    Carson

    Huczek

I think Mitch Williams could be up there one day.

  • Nah, that's not the best that they had to offer. But it was pretty good.

Not a chance that Kane is level above Cliff and Sudsy. The shame of it is that Kane doesn't have a "Cliff" or a "Sudsy" to push him. I would love to see his best.

  • Are you saying that Cliff and Sudsy were like Sampras and Agassi pushing each other to get better. And Kane is like Federer with no one person pushing him.

  • These guys aren't in their prime... Kane probably is. Kane is not two levels above Cliff; that's ridiculous. Not so sure about Sudsy, though, despite the fact that he's been playing with a broken back!

  • This match was the finals, in the semifinals Swain knocked Kane out of the competition. Kane's like half his age and still couldn't hang on with the old man. Swain is the best there ever was and probably will be.

  • Have Kane and Cliff play each other during their primes, I would call Kane to win every single time. When you have a guy that dominates Jack, Rocky, Jason, and lots of other great players, you know he's the best.

  • @wideeyedhopeful Kane also had half the experience. Like age is all that matters in a rball match.

  • Go lefty!

  • id have to put the best all time players in this order,..

    Swain

    Monchik

    Waselenchuk

    Carson

    Huczek

    Mannino

  • Marty Hogan has to be somewhere in the top 3. I'd put him 2nd behind swain and ahead of Sudsy.....

  • you forgot binafif

  • I just watched the 2008 us open, Kane v. Rocky, and Kane makes Monchik and Swain look like club players.

  • I would definitely include Charlie Brumfield and Marty Hogan in that group, along with Bud Muhlheisen.

I know the game has changed. But look at tennis. Laver played with a wood racquet and was amazing, winning 2 grandslams that were seven years apart.

  • I heard jason mannino say in a interview that he is one THE best to ever play What? There is Guy a named Kane that Jason could never or ever will beat with any consistency. Jason wants nothing to do with this left named Kane.

  • Jason said he was "one of the best" not the best ever. Jason is certainly one of the best ever...maybe top 20 ever. Kane is, of course, above and beyond. Jason did finish one year as #1, when Susdy and Cliff were in their prime. Plus Jason is #6 on the list of all-time pro stop wins.

    Swain-65

    Hogan-60

    Monchik-36

    Huczek-26

    Kane-22

    Mannino-20

    Yellon-18

Jason is in pretty good company, wouldn't you say?

  • Jason Mannino had taken a back seat for his bosom buddy Sudsy for sometime. Sudsy gets hurt, thus retired. Jason is trying to make up for lost time or make up the difference since his buddy is gone.I have a match between the two in Minneapolis, and I can tell you that Jason had seemed to enhance, promote sudsy's "legacy." Mannino should be playing to win, not to protect him or make sudsy look good. Guess what? It is Aaron Branigan, not Eric Branigan, referring this match but without the cap.

  • I like my career. Couldn't be happier that I have been able to compete during the reign of 3 of the best players ever. Was able to win more than 25 events so far, 2 US OPENS, and am a World Champion and #1 Ranked player.

  • You're so far up Sudsy's butt that I can smell it.

Mannino is saying here that he's through, a 'HASBEEN.' Can't beat Kane and jason doesn't want anyone to know or reveal the truth about how terrible this match might be IF it ever takes place. This fact would dwarf sudsy's legacy.

    jason Mannino- you are done.

  • LOL.

So do you go to sleep at night crying about how little you have, and will ever accomplish in your meaningless life? You're the same coward from the newsgroup. Racquetball groupie that remains anonymous, too scared of his own shadow to tell us who you are. You're not a man, you're a mouse. Less than a mouse. A RAT!

I'm VERY happy with who I am! Proud of ME! GO to bed with a smile on my face each and every night. That has to kill a slimebag like you.

  • A rat is person who snitches on someone, he RATS on him. So, I must be telling the truth.

Jason mannino wants nothing to do with that big lefty named Kane Waselenchuk nor did sudsy Monchik.

  • Sorry about the thumbs down. It was a mistake. Anyway I think Jason Mannino is the best diver and ball getter to this day.

He is also the best at controlling a crowd,

makng the game more exciting. Anyone playing at this level has my full respect. I love the game of racquetball and I hope one day it will be included in the olympics.

  • I bought this tape years ago. It helps greatly when one has a ref on his side. It takes the pressure off, one plays more loose. Makes one play better, more aggressive.

Fair is fair. Sudsy is one of the best. I would, however, like to see Sudsy play when he is 30 to 35 years of age. Moreover, Sudsy play a no. 1 player and in his very prime when he, Sudsy, is in his early thirties. Not to mention, a ref giving him all the calls. Think about it.

Cliff Swain is the best and proven over the years.

  • That's Eric Branigan referering the match. He was a great factor in the match. Eric seems to ref all of sudsy's his important matches. Sudsy n Eric are close. Eric never lets Suds down.

  • There's no doubt that sudsy is one of the best shooters and players in the game. To say, he is best is another thing. Right now, he is in the top 5 players to ever play the game.

  • Cliff played pretty well considering he was using that crappy Wilson racquet. What a piece of bunch that thing is. Way too light, like hitting with a racquet made of balsa wood.

  • That's Eric Branigan referering the match. He was a great factor in the match. Eric seems to ref all of sudsy's his important matches. Sudsy n Eric are close. Eric never lets Suds down.

  • sudsy vs cliff. arguably the two greatest players of all time. it does not get much better than this. for more racquetball videos go to rballer.webs. com

  • purely from my taste-i like sudsy

    he's also amazing.

  • you can find out who won at ProRacquetball dot Net ... go to latest releases ... its a freakin awesome match !!!

  • Ed, I appreciate you trying to liven it up, but I hope the DVD you sell doesn't include the music. What's the expected complete date and price?

  • who won this game ??

  • That's Eric Branigan referering the match. He was a great factor in the match. Eric seems to ref all of sudsy's his important matches. Sudsy n Eric are close. Eric never lets Suds down.

  • Aaron, not Eric.

    Clueless!

Stop acting like an insider. You'are an outsider little guy.

    Get back under your rock.

  • You are far UP the Sudsy's Ass that you stink.

Ya, you're a good watcher when kane is there.

kane will spot you at least 5 points a game and beat you to 11 everytime. Make no mistake. That puts mannino and sudsy in the correct perspective.
