  • I feel sorry for them, they are spending a shitty time in London.

  • This is not the way of showing them europe by hanging out with a group of people that can even speak good english or showing them a mosk! thats not europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @egon1985ws *Mosque or *Masjid.

  • does violence usually happen like this in england??

  • For those who have trouble with amish german words mixed in with english, it is a bit like listening to the "english" speakers in this documentary. lol

  • You either dance or burn your london neighborhood down. lolol

  • what a waste of a rumspringer rotting in some dirty ghetto.

  • There is only One God but He has many different names given by men depending on there origin of there life but there is only one God and all prayers go that One , well we are all One , we are Brothers or Sisters :)

  • There are no gods but ourselves. We are the one who make the world as it is and how it will become.

  • jesus isnt a god there is only one god

  • they speak Pennsylvania dutch

  • muslims don't believe in another god. it's the same god, different name.

  • hmm i wouldnt call throwing bunch of Amish teenagers into a london ghetto a good idea for showing them the world.I'm from queens and Its the same as throwing a bunch of white boys into east new york or harlem and showing them how the world is.

  • @nykamil1986 I would agree with what you have posted, it is a shame if that would be the case.Isn't it ironic that the majority of people do this sort of thing though.purely base their ideas on what some people chose to do and not what the majority of people do.. But I would have faith and hope that the Amish saw a much better side in their host. I think that this program was trying to show how difficult and diverse life can be "just my own opinion".

  • awww they're so innocent and cute. but introducing them to the outside world by directly plunging them into the violent aspect wasn't exactly a good idea...

  • As for the Muslim house of worship the Mosque. The reason men and women pray separately is because prayer is supposed to be for ALLAH (swt) only. Some men and some women will inevitably find the presence of each other distracting. Human nature vary and so do attitudes (in regards to the equality in prayer space).

  • As for the divider idea sometimes it is not practical to do this if there is only one entrance for example. Remember to pray in Jama is Obligatory for the male not for us ladies. We can go because we have a right also but its not obligatory for us to pray in the Mosque. Some mosques are very accomodating for ladies and others are not.

  • @ 8:14 correction Allah is the same God that created the earth & heavens.Allah is the Arabic name for GodSpanish speaking people do not say the word God in English God in Spanish is Dios.Same for Arabs Creator Lord God is Allah. The Christian Arabs in fact use Allah in their Arabic Christian BibleYou can youtube search video titleYousif Esete's Answer about pastor who burned Quran ? This speaker was a former Christian pastor he proves that Allah is the same in both the Quran & Christian Bible

  • i love the smell of nails salon haha

  • what language were they speaking in the begining?

  • @barakost variant of german

  • @BrandonBlaze904 i live in czech republic, and it is just next to germany, and that is definitely not german

  • @barakost its a mix of German and dutch or something like that

  • @BrandonBlaze904 I'm dutch. I don't hear any dutch in that. earlier in this documentary someone said that the amish came from switserland (swiss). they speak german there and some french and italian. austria is next to switserland and they have their own kind of german. like a very strong dialect. to me it sounds like that

  • @black4pienus I can understand most of their Deitsch, because it is very similar to Austrian German, you are right. :) The Amish from PA, USA are called Penn. Dutch, because Deutsch and Dutch sounded the same to americans.

Many came from Bayern, south Germany, and they still learn to write Kurrent in school. The German handwriting that was used over 100 years ago.

For me the have a strong american accent when they speak that is a little difficult.

    Rumspringen = herumspringen usw:)

  • @barakost Da Herkunft is agentlich Deitsch, ober onders ousprochn. Wie in München oder Wien. I waß scho.

  • dude in the red shirt is flaming!

  • Remeber that most of the 'outside world' live in ghetto!

  • what language did they speakin the begining of this video?

  • @henrikhankhagnell I am going to guess Pennsylvania Dutch which is the language many of the Amish speak at home.

  • @baimudan It did actually sound like Dutch with many influenses from the English language.

  • 10:13 she is a pretty girl

  • While the Amish don't have crime and live in "peace", I still find it disturbing, like any other extreme culture. They keep their children in absolute ignorance and threaten abandonment from the only world they know if they don't abide by the rules. Their community is strong only because it is maintained through fear of God, fear of hell, and fear of being exiled, not because their community members have a fair choice to live that lifestyle.

  • @mvgarci15 your not being fair, they are raised by the ideals of their parents and community. you don't have to be amish you only have to be human for that to happen. and this is not just a tv show they do have a moment in life where they can decide if they want to stay or leave. and just because this particular group of amish teens don't like the outside world doesnt mean that the great majority does. they are not islamic extremist taught to hate the western culture and what it represents

  • 07:25 That boy's face said "I will rip you to shreds"

  • The amount of dubstep in this show

    Is fitting.

  • putting two monotheistic groups together, both groups with plenty of idiots in them, is much more interesting than putting an atheist and someone who believes in god together. it's very funny to me.

  • LOL!!! Abraham built a mosque in Mecca?????

  • im not saying i want jerry to go against his amish faith, but to see him doing all those things and enjoying them...well lets just say i felt the relief for him lol

  • 7:19 omg awkward tension!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • like some people beleive Jesus die on the cross but in my church what others call a cross is a stick. Some people think that Jesus has come already and some beleive he hasnt and some beleive he will not. Just beleive in what your hart tells you and you will be saved

  • There is only one God ? Is Jesus a God ? If so, what about the Lord ?

  • @SunnyMoon2010 no jasus is the Lord and God is the father

  • @SunnyMoon2010 let me also say a lot people there their is more the one God the truth about that because people are from other counties we have other beleives. God has nany names. Just like my real name and your would have another saying is you where in another country.

  • Is this from MTV?

  • I think Jerry wants to bang that little Muslim hottie.

  • "THERE IS NO CRIME IN THE AMISH?!" lol!!! The Amish are KNOWN for their child abuse problems, especially from the men against the children (boys)... its a kknown fact, most of the amish just don't call it "child abuse"....thats the truth, w0rd!

  • @HerbalJah nigga!

  • @HerbalJah I'm sure that there are a lot of different Amish communities. Sure there might be problems in some, but maybe there is none in their community. That's all they know.

  • @HerbalJah What? We were never abused! We wouldn't do such things. We give a threshin if they are doing wrong, but nothing searous. Violence is a sin. No, we aren't perfect!

  • @HerbalJah Plus they said NOT IN THEIR VILLIAGE!!!!!!!!

  • @HerbalJah thats all bull shit man... i have never heard of such crap... i live in lancaster county rite beside other amish groups... never heard of that.. so quit spreading this shit around!!!

  • @HerbalJah they said in their community..

  • 5:55 do amish guys usually read scipture to dubstep, haha

  • "there is only One God" AMEN SISTER!

  • @ProgressiveAudio , There are 99 names for Allah. i have found 3 that stood out to me: An-Noor ( The Light ), Al-Haqq ( The Truth ), Al-Muhyi ( The Giver of Life ) , Muslims do not believe that Jesus is God,they believe that Jesus was just a messenger, than can you explain why your Holy Quran itself says that Jesus is indeed God Himself by saying An-Noor, Al-Haqq, Jesus said: "I am The Way and The Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

  • @Mekdes2104 thats retarded, b/c the opposite could work the other way around from a muslims point of view you wallaby!

  • shows how empty the street"culture" is.

    so self-obsessed.

i think its exploitative of channel 4 to throw the Amish in head first to such a violent, ugly estate world. Ive lived in a huge city all my life& ive never been on an estate or heard first hand

knive/drug/murder stories like that. i avoid that.

Its too artificial the setup of this show..

Id run back to Armish land too after that.-

  • I'm Christian, and I believe that there is only one God, but people just pray to him differently.

  • could anyone else hear dubstep at 5:56?

  • the muslim girl is hot

  • Amish is just another Arminian cult...all roads lead to Rome.

  • @TheMadronas

    idiot. look up wiki Amish.

the Amish were started in switz-german area.

there christians.the german founders surname was Ammoun (sic) hence Amish

  • they should have the reveerse happen where the uk kids visit the amish

  • Comment removed

  • why would they take the Amish to the UK?? Do they not live in Pennsylvania? (USA???) Pretty sure the lifestyle in the UK is different from the United States. If these Amish teens were to decide to leave the Amish lifestyle why would they go to the UK? They already live in the United States. I'm not seeing why they chose London???? P.S. I'd tap that one Amish guy with the brown hair (not the big lips one lol)

  • This is very amusing to watch if you're an atheist...but also a bit sad. I do see the benefit of the Amish in that there is a very strong sense of community, but it sounds like a corset for the most part.

  • @katia04 i agree!!!

  • @katia04 it takes time for amish to learn many things huh

  • @katia04 I'm not atheist, but it is still quite interesting

  • @katia04 I agree with you. It amazes me how they can be so broad- and narrowminded at the same time, but we're all products of our upbringing. I guess if you're brought up so alienated from the modern world, you become like that.

  • The problem about religions would be the fact that they view everything outside their circle is evil. The thing is, religion won't mean shit if you're a hypocrite to begin with. And they were made to govern people back in the ancient times. They weren't made to adapt to a constantly changing world. So those who confine their lives to it end up limited to whatever's been dictated in outdated ancient doctrines. And I for one would never pick a life in a sad little bubble.

  • there should be similarities considering Judaism , Islam and Christianity was the same at one point it was all Judaism so yeah bitches suck on that :P also im agnostic

  • religious bullshit

  • @naumrusomarov i feel really bad for religious people, they limit themselves for something that doesnt exist

  • @MaistroDavid I think they should have showed them people from the sexual minorities. The amish would have soooo freaked out. That actually would have been fun to watch. :)

  • @naumrusomarov they should have taken them to a stripclub :P

  • @MaistroDavid As a Christian who was once an atheist, I can tell you that that is not true. Whatever limitations God has given me, to stay away from violence, drunkeness, adultery- I don't miss any of those things and the salvation He gave me is better.

  • @MaistroDavid its bc they live like its 1714

  • Of course they are going to think badly of the 'outside world' if they are introduced to it by living in the ghetto!!!!!!!

  • @MyMelnick They weren't in the ghetto.....

  • @MyMelnick Not only the ghetto but why the fuck take them to another country?????

  • @MyMelnick its not much their fault that the "ghetto" world exists when the black's were given freedom not alot of people gave them open arms, and i think these amish people need to learn to respect and be open minded to all other religions, just because they think their religion is the #1 doesn't mean its the best -_-

  • @MyMelnick wonder how they would have reacted if they went ot some upper class toffee house

  • @MyMelnick right! lol! thats what i was thinking!

  • @MyMelnick Where do you think they'll end up with the education level of a 14-year-old and no high school diploma? These Amish kids are set up from birth to be as ill-prepared as possible for the "outside world" - so of course they come running back to what is familiar to them. If the Amish actually allowed their children to go to public school, their way of life would be extinct in a single generation.

  • @gotanmp3 Sad to think of really. That way of life disappearing.

  • At the time I'm watching this there are crimes being committed in the Amish community. Some Amish men were being yanked out of their homes at night & their beards & hair was shaved forcibly. It turned out by other Amish who had been shunned by their community & were living apart from it in communities of their own. There is anger & frustration & because it is a closed community most will never know.

  • @righttoright1 where r u from?

  • i love there faces when they see the dance, priceless.

  • Comment removed

  • @righttoright1

American kids are pretty much the same.

  • @righttoright1 American kids really aren't much better, really. Think about it.

  • @lespritpeureux

To add to it, they're given a status were they can't work full time, schools have failed them, and pretty much yea, what do they do with that free time. They're treated like kids, but are mature enough to have something that gives them purpose. It is kinda a failure of modern society of what to allow them to do.

  • The one thing i dislike so much at Chrstianity is their strong belief in all other religions and beliefs is wrong and a trick from their devil, even in religions who don't believe in a devil, but are accepting in other faith..ah no sorry, you are going to hell even if you don;t believe in a hell or devil, you are evil and going to hell. Our god or NO GOD. Which is the most horrible thing about Christianity.

  • The black chick is kinda cute

  • I would love to live an Amish life, with many of the values, minus the religion.

  • @fragmentedbeauty I have felt the same way! But you can. Reduce your dependence on technology and electricity. Dress simply. Treat others the way you want to be treated. You don't have to be religious to live the lifestyle. I guess it's just harder when you are born around all of the modern comforts we have.

  • There are positive and negatives to every religion and culture. Wouldn't it be lovely to live a self-sustaining peaceful lifestyle with technology and freedom of thought and religion?

  • Ugg, the unnecessary pain and struggle that religion causes...

  • @Glovefullavasoline waaaa waaaaa waaaaa cry christian cry

  • muslim girl: yea i have to stop my modeling and dancing

amish guy: yea i have to stop using my car, tv and radio

muslim girl: yea we are like the same

    lol :) two different worlds

  • for some reason the blond seems the most open minded and nice while the others are behind, what was her name? anyone know???

  • Whats the tune in 05:56?? Thanks for the help!

  • 8:19 ...they believe in some other guy

    that was funny

  • @Glovefullavasoline fair enough. Sorry for attacking you then :)

  • @Glovefullavasoline I'm just very unhappy about how you are threating other people. Yelling that their religions is the fake one. I have no beliefs, but I'm expressing my opinion and to me such cursing of 2 people between each other is a sign of lowest intelligence possible. That's why I hate religion. It makes people stupidly fight each other for no good reason.

  • I'm actually happy about how they think in this episode. They were interested to learn about other religions, rather than just breaking out and yelling. It's nice to see people acting tolerant.

  • @Glovefullavasoline all religions are equally stupid! There's no proof for any of them.

  • This video made me respect the amish even more. FInally a community who realizes to love your neighbor AND enemy..

  • @Glovefullavasoline christianity lover, whom u trying to fool! remember golden formula: 3 in 1 = head & shoulder..

scram..get lost angry teen & dont mis with me.. go play w girls your age..& when u reach puberty send me post.

  • @Glovefullavasoline so u r a teenager..i thought u r an adult !!..wow u r fluent in toilet language!

  • Comment removed

  • These poor kids have been so brainwashed, and as a result they're not very tolerant; very judgmental and oddly prideful, still, I know where they're coming from; I was there in my own adolescence, but I ultimately went my own way!

  • @ObscurityMiss86 maybe your brainwashed, the amish live very moral lives.

  • The blond boy never says anything.

  • I remember how I felt hearing pop music when I wasn't familiar with it. No, I wasn't brought up Amish, but my family went through a fanatic phase; we may as well have been converting to Mennonite at least. It was kinda scary to hear the music, because I had been brainwashed. We're afraid of what we don't understand. Music tends to stir emotion or desire, and a lot of that is suppressed in Amish and in my case, super christian culture. Of course they were going to feel uncomfortable and stirred.

  • wow, she doesn't even notice that the Islam worship the same god.

  • She keeps saying Jesus is God, Jesus isn't God ... he's God's son. o_o

  • @1412Bunny God is in three forms = God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit - when Orthodox make the cross the put their thumb and first 2 fingers together to make the three as one. HOLY TRINITY - Triada - 3! So Jesus IS God!

  • @jsidiropoulou - Ok .... still kinda confusing but thanks :)

  • @1412Bunny LOL - as I am not religious in the least - I find explaining and learning about religions much easier - as I am not swayed by beliefs.

  • they were introduced to the wrong muslims..or is it delibrate..these r either qadianees or kind of shia or sufis..they r worse than jews who worship 2 gods & christians who worsihp 3 gods...they worship tons of gods who they call imams or walee's.. & think they control the world..may Alaah guid them to real islam of the companions (salaf) who worship the Creator/Alaah ALONE with no partners.

  • its interesting how the amish seemed less hostile to the muslims thing than most americans typically are.

  • I WISH I HAD A PRETTY WHOLESOME WIFE LIKE 1 OF THE AMISH

  • that muslim girl is probably the hottest person alive

  • Why didn't they bring them to the British Museum? I think it can give them tons of surprises in one package.

  • 5:35 religion is poison

  • @shonz905 one day you will regret saying that my friend

  • @linx6681 yeah maybe. probably not though

  • so many awkward moments.

  • Uh, Muslims do believe Jesus died on the cross, they just don't think he was resurrected which is the central Christian belief. All these religious groups know nothing of the others' beliefs! I think that secondary schools should teach comparative religion. It is a fascinating study and would help people with understanding and empathy.

  • @sharper201curzonst

No, they actually don't believe He died on the cross. They believe a person who looked like Him was crucified. They have different theories about who that person was. Some say it was Judas, some say it was just a person who was created just for that time, just for that purpose etc.

  • @sharper201curzonst Where I live, there are no religious classes, but Ethics and Religious Culture... so it sort of comes down to what you were saying would be good in secondary schools

  • @sharper201curzonst As if the people outside wasn't tired of being "introduced" to other people and religions every single day------now it's impossible to have a simple life with your own kind, you "need" to be around people you don't relate to at all.

  • @sharper201curzonst

What and spread more lies? No thank you. Religion has no place in an academic environment.

You wanna preach bullshit you take bullshit-studies at your bullshit-church/mosque/synagogue.

  • @sharper201curzonst Islamic texts categorically deny the idea of crucifixion or death attributed to Jesus by the Bible. The Qur'an states that people (i.e., the Jews and Romans) sought to kill Jesus, but they did not crucify nor kill him, although "this was made to appear to them." Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but instead, he was raised up by God unto the heavens. :)

  • @sharper201curzonst actually muslims do NOT believe Jesus Died, we believe he was sent to heaven before this happened and someone else that appeared like him was crucified,

  • @sharper201curzonst Not true. I am a Mormon homeschooler and I have many Muslim friends. I knew they believed this. Many more do as well.

  • @sharper201curzonst

Thank you for your respect and interest in comparative religion. It is my duty to tell you however that Muslims do not believe Jesus (pbuh) died on the cross or has been resurrected. This is stated lucidly in the Quran in Surah An Nisaa Verse 157 (interpretation of the meaning)

(( ...And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them....))

Thank you again for your pleasant and well-intended comment.

  • @sharper201curzonst Everyone should believe jesus died on the cross, the romans recorded it lol...

  • @dem0nthesis yeah jesus died on the cross doesnt matter if it was for us or not it still happend

  • @halyie at the time, thousands of people died on the cross. violence and cruelty have always existed. thousands die everyday and some die even more horrendous deaths than dieing on a cross. so what is your point.

  • @funkyfiss that is my point that lots of ppl died on the cross and he was one of them thats all i said as for the saying he died for our sins i dont think so even thoe im Prodestant but i do think he was a good man who only wanted to help ppl nothing bad or fake about him

  • @sharper201curzonst And if you had gone to school this decade you would know they do, at least where i went to school in kansas they did.

  • @sharper201curzonst Wrong, Muslims believe Jesus faked his death and was whisked away. Unfortunately, both Christians and Muslims are wrong, since Jesus never existed. Oh well.

  • @ProgressiveAudio Unfortunately you don't have much information about Islam . I suggest you read more about Islam's point of view on Messiah .

  • @CameMyTurn Actually, I'm right:

"No, according to the Quran, Jesus didn't die by crucifixion.

Oh sure, the Jews like to brag about crucifying Jesus (we've all heard them do that!), but they didn't really. It just looked that way to them. And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them. 4:157a"

  • @CameMyTurn Allah and Jesus faked the whole bloody mess. Jesus beamed up to heaven and had some stand-in do the crucifixion for him. (Some Muslims say it was Judas.) And lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. But Allah took him up unto Himself. 4:157b-8

  • @CameMyTurn They even say this in the video above, where the Muslim Iman tells them that that's they believe. Do you think he's lying or something?

  • @sharper201curzonst i was in Jamaica for my 10th and 11th grade years and everyone took comparative religious Ed. i think it and philosophy are the best classes ive taken in school! i learnt to believe in what i want, but respect everyone's opinion at the same time.

  • "There is no crime"...

just read a story about a pedophilia amish man who wanted to have sex with a 12 year old..

  • @blair91234 I have read the same article but there are many Amish communities and as these guys lead quite isolated lives they are not lying when they say they have not heard of it. Because it didn't happen to them in their community.

  • i live close to some amish communities and they get busted for selling drugs all the time

  • @stevan33ify ha ha i used to be amish and as far as i know ive never seen any amish selling drugs

  • are they talking german in there?

  • @mralanv It's a german dialect called Pennsylvania Deutsch.
