You guys are wonderful. Thank you for sharing this info with us and for caring so deeply for your dogs. I am sorry the little girl didn't make it. She had the most beautiful face! She's a little Guardian Name for her brother now. God Bless Kali and you both.
i have a 10 month old jack russel terrier who has distemper for a month... she is still sick and i dont know how long she can fight it.. but i can see it in her eyes that she is fighting it.. i dont know how to help her.. need advice asap..
@bogartd2nd It is VERY difficult to save a dog that has been fighting this disease for a month. Usually if we can get a dog treated before it goes through the sixth day of sickness, we have a good chance of saving it. There is still hope, but you need to contact us directly at ed.bond.new.york@gmail.com. Tell us where you are.
@bogartd2nd same here i got an 5 month old lab, i have read an article than nubilization and vitamin A .. i hope that stuff could also save my dog.. i cant do notnhing but to cry and pray
@OhMyLuluz According to the vet schools and veterinary journals, there isn't a cure. But Kind Hearts In Action is working on proving that the NDV treatments discovered by Dr. Al Sears work. Go to the Kind Hearts In Action website. The URL is in the description for this video. There is also a Kind Hearts In Action YouTube channel.
I need your help my dog is really sick she twiches and it looks like she has the hick ups my vet told me that it would be probably the best to put her down but i really dont wanto because i love her wat can i do ?
@1stGhela You need to contact us directly through the websites included in the description above. YouTube won't allow me to include URLs or e-mail addresses in comments. But there is a vet in the Philippines, and I can give you that info if you e-mail us.
@edbondsf there is!ive already brought my dog to two diffrent vets to get two separate opinions,,they say its incurable desease,,this is the symptoms of my dog,,she used to have diarrhea with blood on her poop and the vet gave her antibacterial ,,now she recovered on that, right now shes done with her meds on her dog flu,,she had a flu,,she lost her weight but she still eats but not a lot..i dont know if that falls distemper,,im scared,,,i love my dog
@1stGhela i cant get through to your email account..can you just give me a quick tip right now??sir/ma'am do you think,,through this symptoms ive said is it distemper??
Did both Lil' Miss & Kaliber had a shot of NDV? Did they had Distemper at the same time? I think my Doxie have this disease base on her symptoms (Eyes,Nose,Pads), so I will surely have her take this kind of treatment today, and hoping for this to work.
They did not have a chance to treat Lil Miss. For more information please contact us through the Kind Hearts in Action Web site. Let us know where you live so we can find a vet/treatment for your dog.
I have info available for you. But I need you to contact me directly through the Kind Hearts In Action Web site. The URL is listed in the description for this video. (I can't post URLs or e-mail addresses in comments, sorry.
Thanks for your comment. You are correct that there is no published treatment for distemper. What Dr. Sears has uncovered is a new treatment and we seek skeptical, scientific inquiry into this discovery. Our goal is to get this published in a veterinary journal, but we need money, contacts and advocates with influence.
Currently, there are no approved treatment for distemper. A puppy can survive distemper but the neurological effects can't be cured. It takes several weeks to months before neurological symptoms shows. We had puppies who recovered but the seizures came about after months of recovery..
We have a homeopathic vet in NYC who treated our rescue. He went from gagging and drooling and dragging his back legs to being a happy playful dog.
