In case you did believe that Grey was actually the voice actor who played Niko, he wasn't, as was pointed out before.

They just hired him for the Toronto game launch. He did a very good job though.

Rockstar may have made 6000 million, but they have other to pay off besides the voice character, also include artist, composers, programmer, producer, packaging, advertising and more. In game development, programmers earn the highest of everyone in the team so 100 grand is considered highly paid for a voice actor.
