@kramentor cryptopsy is its own thing. it is technical but not in the way your standard techdeath band is. they also have a really loose, sloppy sound (not saying they aren't coordinated). it gives the music more feel. i guess you could call it "groovy". and it doesn't have that tough guy vibe. i don't know, i love it.

I think one has to have a truly twisted mind to come up with such verses, i can't help but wonder what Lord Worm's inner world looks like. Probably like a bad LSD trip multiplied by a thousand. I have never respected a vocalist as much, what he does really shines the light on the demented in every one of us, humans. I bow in deep, deep respect.

maybe the reason i like it a lot is because: that was the first cryptopsy album i showed my best music friend, so to speak, and he was so into it. And when someone else who's opinion you trust is so into it, it makes it a lot easier to get into it. and i had to look at it with a different mindset. Example: once was not is one of those surreal, epic albums. while TUK is a more "down to earth" album.
