  • this is one damn fine wagon

  • What's up with the flat tire sound?

  • I wouldn't buy anything made by GM, they have the cheapest plastic shit.

  • @TungstenIHC

well then your a dumb fuck

  • well the current cts is supposed to fill a gap between the 3 and 5 series, however, it weighs more than both, has a worse power-to-weight ratio than both, handles worse than both, and in my opinion, looks much worse than both.

good try for an american cadillac, but you'll need to try harder.

  • Ahhh, I've driven several of these CTSs and the 3 and 5 series BMWs. The CTS may have a poor power-to-weight ratio compared to the BMWs but the handling is on par with the 5 series. Not to mention the CTS is much more affordable. The kicker is that the ride quality in the CTS is better than the BMWs!

One last thing; looks are subjective and a lot of people prefer the CTS to the 3 or 5 series.

  • you're the first person i've ever heard say that the cts handles well. everybody who's driven the car says it much prefers highway cruising to a twisty back road.

  • They may not feel as nimble as a BMW but the performance capability is there. Try pushing a CTS through a few corners and you will be very surprised! After all, they have been derived from a German (Opel) platform that has since been tuned on the Nurburgring.

  • it's not derived on an opel platform, it's derived from a holden platform, and the underpinnings of the cts is the same as you'd find on the pontiac g8, just not as extreme.

it doesn't handle well by bmw standards, it handles well by cadillac standards. and there's a huge difference.

  • No, you're wrong about the platform. Do your research and you will see. And the CTSs handle well by any standard. I know this from experience.

  • well i have to ask. by experience does this mean that you tested the cts and every single one of its competitors, including the 535i, on twisting back roads or mountain passes? or did you just drive the cts and consider it adequate?

it's an honest question. my cousin has a honda pilot, and he claims it handles like a sedan. but the only other cars he's ever driven are a camry and a 90s saturn, so of course the pilot handles similarly.

  • @coolerdude44

I just got rid of my bmw x3 and bmw ci and just got the brand new cadillac cts 3.6 - and I LOVE it, the way it handles is equal-

  • styling is subjective. I think the current BMW's are butt ugly ( even though they have a great engines and handling). The CTS is a great car that has come a long way. This car can now compete with the top rung and hopefully the cars few short comings will be addressed in the next generation.

  • it's not a great car, it's a great american car. it has more than a few short comings, and i'm sure all won't be addressed in the next generation.

is it the best cadillac ever made? definitely. is it a huge step in the right direction over the last one? of course.

does bmw even recognize it as a competitor? nope.

  • @RAS4915 - you obviously work for Cadillac design. How do I know this? Because you guys are the only ones that use the statement "styling is subjective" to support you styling direction. That's like IT guys who say the "It works as designed". lol.

The truth is that a car designs success can and should be measured by sales. End of story. Whoever at Cadillac chose to mothball the Sixteen should be mothballed themselves.

  • I work for a bank, not GM. I do like the CTS but I do not own one and I understand that not everyone is going to like this car. I do think Caddy is going in the right direction with this car..just my opinion

  • This car looks gorgeous! I hope this changes Americans' perception of wagons. I cant even think of any crossover/SUVs that look this stylish.

This should prove good competition to the Audi, Volvo, BMW, and Mercedes wagons over here (which are the only ones that sell)

  • hear wah mi a seh, i hope dem mek a CTS-V configuration for this sportswagon, then it can run wit m5s and vxr8s

  • Be American * DRIVE American

  • I got a Dodge Magnum but it aint got shit on this. Give me a black one wit Caddy chrome rims

  • it may be an ugly car, but it's built by GM so you know it'll last at least 24 months.

  • LOL how true.

  • As a 19-year-old male college student, is it odd that I find this car extremely appealing? lol

  • WOW you're stupid.

    Cadillac is true American luxury.

    Not stupid Jap shit.

  • Yeah 'true American luxury' that caused GM to go fucking bankrupt and layoff thousands of workers and have the company lose its #1 spot in the car industry to that Jap shit company Toyota

    Yeah God Bless Motherfucking America!

Its why the US is in so much fucking trouble. Because they make shit cars with shit mileage and think they're going to make money off them

Bottom line is that any fuckwad that drives gas guzzlers like this should NEVER be allowed to complain about gas prices EVER AGAIN!

  • TRAITOR!!

    Go drive your Yaris faggot.

  • I guess the only way stupid Americans will learn that a fuel efficient car is the smart choice is when they start paying $10/gallon for gas.

Tell me what purpose does a gas guzzling tank like this have on the road? GM doesn't get it and fucked up Americans don't get it either and GM going bankrupt is the result.

It makes me embarassed to be part of this country sometiimes and it PISSES ME OFF that my tax dollars are use to save GM when it could be used for something better. >_>

  • Yo asshole JDubs878! If you hate us, you can leave this country and go to someother place. And once we wage war with that country America will beet the shit out of you and the rest of the unpatriotic assholes who think like you! Let me guess, You voted for Obama you dumb liberal!

  • Let's see what you say when gas prices go back up again. I bet you'll be dumping your gas guzzling shitbox in no time.

There's a reason why Jap cars are beating the shit out of US cars, because the Japs know what the consumer wants and builds quality, fuel efficient cars that people will buy.

US car makers on the otherhand just say 'fuck it, we're gonna build what we want and people will buy it'. That's why they've fallen behind the Japs so much. Only now are US car makers figuring this out.

  • Who says japanese cars are more fuel efficient? I drove Lexus ES 330 and it hardly gave me 18-19 mpg in city.... traded it in for Cadillac CTS AWD and it easily gives me 18-19 mpg in city. Don't forget Lexus has a smaller engine no AWD and a smaller car altogether. If your talking abt customer satisfaction then I wasn't satisfied with that Japanese JUNK!

  • Yeah the Japs sell such shit cars that all the major Japanese car makers are making money while all the US companies are going under.

And the Japs make such crap cars that their resale value is far better than any US car. Yeah that's Japanese junk for you. LOL

Stop being a homer and use your brain. If GM, Ford and Chrsyler were making such fantastic cars, their sales should be through the roof. Yet all 3 are struggling, so why is that? Why are the US big 3 taking such a beating then?

  • well we might be gas guzzling but at least U.S. cars have balls. Ever heard the saying "flexing American muscle" you never hear "flexing japaness rice buring muscle." I said it before I'll say it again if you hate America so much then LEAVE!! ITS NOT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND!!!

  • Only an observation, if I'm correct, the ones who bury rice are actually the chinese.....just saying...oh and, lets just say Obama was the better choice...not trying to offend anyone btw....

  • well, it was obama that really took a stand for the automobile industry. If it weren't for obama, idk if GM or Chrysler would have made it.

  • @JDubs878 Really? Because 9 months later, GM is still around. And guess what? Ford recently beat Toyota out of the number 1 spot on the market. Along with Ford beating Toyota is reliabilty in Consumer Reports. So there you have it. "stupid Americans?" I don't think so.

  • Total Swag!!

  • FUCK U CADILLAC IS ALL GOOD

  • Totally agree! I've been wanting a CTS for years, still can't afford one though but I may have to consider this one... I like my PT Cruser and have an affinity now with Hatchbacks, so this has me in love!

  • its unique thats for sure....im actually liking it a bit, i wouldn't mind having one...but i would prefer the coupe....

  • a wagon is more unique in the states, I think it'll turn more heads because of that.

The only other wagons I ever see most of the time are 25 year old volvo 240's.

    This is something else entirely.

The sick bit is, I can actually afford it.

  • I can't help it.....it reminds me of a funeral home hearse!

  • It's not any more hearse-like than any other wagon...

It'd be pretty wacky for one of these to show up at a funeral, though.

That's the thing about wagons and hatches: Fold the rear seats down and it's a fucking CAVE

  • I disagree...I like wagons and hatchbacks...sometimes. This one is particularly weird because of that uber thick pillar. It's obvious that GM must have struggled with that surfacing and took an easy way out.

  • Fuck Jap cars!

    American Pride!

    White Power!

  • white my behind.....GM's director is african american... as are many things in this country...quit sippin haterade...

  • hey, this is actually nice

  • I like the cts sedan, but this? --Why?

  • no no no, cadillac hit another one right out of the park. give me a black one with awd and magna-ride.

  • It's a Saab 9-3 Sport-Combi in Cadillac gear. =/ Oh GM.

  • Sorry, ur not even close. The CTS is rear wheel drive based. Saab 9-3 is not...

  • ew, this is ugly.

  • great looking alternative to the hulking SUV's that Americans love. I drive a BMW 3 wagon 2004. I will now buy American, Cadillac is finally major again. The interiors are beautiful too. I'm curious what all these people with the negative comments drive. Boring Toyotas probably.

  • this car is a crap

  • Its shit you fucked up cunt!

  • i just don't like the sport wagon

  • I'll give you $900.00 dollars for it. On second thought, keep it.

  • news flash: caddy is only making 10,000 of these for europe and asian market. this car will never see a north american road. SAD but TRUE

  • no its for the us market too.

you must be thinking of something else...

  • hes thinking of the bls, wich i really a saab 9-3 with caddy badges on.

  • why on earth would anybody want a Saab with Cadillac badges? here in the UK I'd be proud to drive a Saab. I'd be as embarrassed as hell to be seen driving a Cadillac. It would be like buying a Jaguar and putting Ford badges on it.

    why???

  • well, for one, you live in the UK, where cadillac is less wanted than aids (dont get me wrong, i love UK), secondly, this was gm's idea, not mine.

  • stfu cadillac is fuckin sexy

    fag

dont like the wagon, but id drive any cadi proudly in UK

    what now britz? haha

  • Saab is dead you idiot.

  • why do the doors of cars these days are soo "high" like their isnt muhc window left and u cant reeally lean ur arm out confrotably anymore

  • i like this and the dodge magnum

  • it better be available with the v package.

  • Was that thing moving?

  • oh i thought i was watching a starwars movie, funny why i felt that way, cheap car.

  • nice

  • Most beastly looking station wagon ever.

  • this car is fantastic!!

    my favorite car!!

  • really badass. a wise move by cadillac. people are now wanting practicality with their style and this pulls it off nicely. The reason cadillac hasn't made a wagon recently is they were trying to get away from the stigma of the hearses they used to make. also not an old people car anymore. while old people can enjoy the luxier, heavier models the cts, sts, xlr, and even the srx and escalade are pleasantly modeled for a younger crowd

  • To compete with the Magnum and Impreza eh. It's nice, I like it.

  • Why do I have to always think that they miss the boat again. I love this design! Why is it not in the showroom?? Are we that unsure of our designers?

  • I can imagine a cts-v wagaon already.

  • this is european, wagons, thats why americans wouldnt really like it.

    I think it looks great!

  • i dont think this wagon is a good move by cadillac

  • Heck no i dont wanna buy this. This is an old people car.

  • I wouldn't mind seeing one in a CTS-V version. Would be fun to see that up against the Magnum SRT-8

  • haha drive it faster that 30 would ya

  • Muito bom!

  • Pretty nice looking, even for a wagon.

  • Is this an SRX replacement?

  • I don't think so. This is a compact wagon, and the SRX is a crossover.

  • This is not the replacement for the SRX

  • good looking car

  • FIRST VIEWER!! YAY!!! :D LOL when does this come out?

  • Why, you wanna buy it?
