Parsley, that's a nice treat. Be careful with feeding too much lettuce or other vegetable with too much moister in it. They get diaria from it when they overeat. The appetite of guinea pigs is legendary.
@leah480 obviously you don't know much at all about cavies!!! they eat all types of greens...ICEBERG lettuce is not to be fed to them...they like Bok Choy,parsleys, and other types of lettuces.
@leah480. I feed them the dark leaf lettuce or romaine lettuce varieties. I stay away from iceberg lettuce which has little to no nutritional value for the guineas.
also add a lot of bedding during winter it helps keep themselves warm and in the summer try to have a medium amout like regular or they'll get reallly hot and die I've only had 1 other one and it died so I've had this one since the 1st of january when me and my bf got 2gether

Amazing, all guinea pigs except mine can be with others. My "speedy" had a twin brother which he didnt like even when they were 5 weeks old, and have always trying to kill each other eachtime they met. He's very offensive? how come your guinea pigs can be together?
It probably helps that I only have one male in the bunch so he doesn't get territorial. Another thing is that the cage is pretty roomy so each can have their own personal space ... but that doesn't mean it prevents others from invading it :-P

They are so cute!! Mine just climbs the cage bars and chatters his teeth and makes this noise that sounds like a broken squeak. We've had him for 3 and a half years and he never made the typical guinea pig wheek wheek noise like our other pig did. I miss the squeaking...yours are so cute!
