I find it puzzling you feel you do not need to obey the gospels even though Jesus stated his word would never pass away amoung many warnings. I like what you had to say during the first part of your video about what the disciples preached vs what is now preached. That is very thought provoking, but I don't know about the information regarding Paul. Learning these things about Paul is new to me, yet during my studies in the past, things would stand out as strange to me, coincidentally they were all written by Paul. My foundation for the words of Christ, are the words that he SPOKE while he was here on earth,after his ressurection, and before his ascension. Ahava, I'm a little confused..I tiught that the 10C. were given before the Law, in Exodus 20, which was in the third month after the exodus from Egypt.
The Law was not given until later, in Leviticus ..hence the 10C are separate from the Law...
How do you explain that..??

James is for people under law...building a nation.
They understood only the gospel of God -as was their salvation, but NOT the gospel of grace.

You're taking that verse out of context. That passage is about how man sees us and NOT how God sees us. This is explained in James 2:18. Even James agrees that Abraham was saved by faith alone(James 2:23). Soli Fide!

These people won't be able to work, they will not be able to buy or sell, they will need help big time.

I like what you had to say during the first part of your video about what the disciples preached vs what is now preached. That is very thought provoking, but I don't know about the information regarding Paul. Learning these things about Paul is new to me, yet during my studies in the past, things would stand out as strange to me, coincidentally they were all written by Paul. The Law was not given until later, in Leviticus ..hence the 10C are separate from the Law...

IF the law were in place, we would be REQUIRED to KEEP it in faith for salvation.
It's been taken out of the way.
You are back in the wrong dispensation-you are not the nation of Israel!
The great commission is not ours-you say you "follow Jesus" (in a disobedient manner you do)..yet you have not sold out, you don't have all things common, you use money, you can't heal the sick and they will recover, you have more than one coat, you can't handle serpents or drink poison.

There is a distinction between being under the law...and obediance to the law..two different concepts, otherwise all those verses I showed you would'nt be there. There are no controdictions in scripture.. " We shall be judged by our works". And stop it with the exclamation points will ya? I agree with that other guy....your eyes do match your top. lol

James is for people under law...building a nation.
They understood only the gospel of God -as was their salvation, but NOT the gospel of grace.
You don't have to be obedient to the law FOR SALVATION - that's not where OUR faith lays. That was where faith for the nation of Israel was though. THEY HAD TO keep it in faith for salvation (just as James writes TO THEM).
I'm emphatic...I won't stop my exclaiming!!! lol

@Ahavah8Ahavah ...Were dealing with basicly 2 groups in the modern church...those under the law (Catholics) and faith based churches which of late believe the 10 commandments are for Jews. Historical protestantism teaches righteousness by faith as well as obediance to the commands of Jesus as stated In Revelation. In the end there will be 2 kinds of people, disobediant and obediant (the remnant), the disobediant will hear these words from Jesus "I never knew ye" there will be "gnashing of teeth"

You're taking that verse out of context. That passage is about how man sees us and NOT how God sees us. This is explained in James 2:18. Even James agrees that Abraham was saved by faith alone(James 2:23). Soli Fide!

I agree. I also KNOW by your words you are actually being DISobedient to what the RISEN Lord and Saviour told us.
You have, sir...ADDED to His pure and simple gospel of grace, and you are looking at, counting on and teaching a works based salvation that cannot save anyone.
You are mixing up what was for the NATION to uphold with what was revealed to Paul by Jesus Christ Himself in His resurrected body.

James is written to the 12 tribes. It seems all you people are on a broken record to use James out of context.
James asks...Can faith save you? Then proceeds to tell you - NO, faith alone cannot save you.
That is the opposite for the uncircumcision to whom we are and who Paul preached to.
James was part of the circumcision. Wake up.

You seem to know you don't need to build an ark or keep the all the laws laid out in Deuteronomy, Numbers, Exodus...
BUT you fail to know WHY the Apostle Paul got saved or the fact that you are admonished in 2 Cor NOT to follow Jesus the man in the flesh, but the RISEN Saviour who has directions TO you - a gentile NOT UNDER LAW

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to salvation.
Jesus Christ is the foundation of the circumcision with a program of NATION building. The great commission. (that's NOT us)
THEY WERE CUT OFF...yet to be restored.
That program diminished. Gone now.
Jesus Christ is the foundation of the uncircumcision - He saved a blasphemer of the HG (Paul) to go out to the gentiles individually, for individual salvation and that's all that's available today. YOUR directions for salvation are in Romans-Philemon.

Remember these words that Jesus spake " If you love me ..keep my Commandments." I don't teach work based salvation, nor do I teach faith only salvation. Either one by itself won't work.

@Ahavah8Ahavah ...Grace is a cover for our failings...anybody that thinks they can keep the law perfectly is fooling themselves. On the other hand Paul says..."Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid, yea we etablish the law." According to Paul ...adherance to the law is expected. Jesus said the same thing. Revelation says the same thing. James says the same thing. Romans says the same thing. Matt. 5: 17 says the same. Christians are to be lawfull...not lawless.

What happens if we are saved and we don't do this. I don't think I know ANYONE who loves YHWH with everything they have in their heart, soul and mind all the time.
I really, REALLY don't know anyone who loves their neighbor as themselves.
If you are hungry you eat, if you are cold you grab a blanket, if you are hurt you get the needed treatment...how many are helping their neighbors on that level as well as just being more thoughtful of others in every interaction?
We fail.
What's the remedy?

Kingdom Saints going through tribulation, on the other hand HAVE TO do these things. It's a MUST!
These people won't be able to work, they will not be able to buy or sell, they will need help big time.
They will have the power of the Holy Ghost to drink poison, heal the sick and deal with serpents - their faith will be able to move mountains (as Moses could part the red sea)
It's a nice "thought" for us. Good to keep focused on love, but it's not what Jesus truly meant. He was speaking plainly
