  • i was given such a run around tryin to find out what was wrong with me then the dr told me i had pcos but hasnt told me about it, which is why iv watched your video which has helped and explained away a lot of symptoms i would never had thought had anythin to do with it, iv been given no advice or pills of any kind but have another scan (my third just to keep an eye on them) but they never seem to tell me anything. it was the nurse takin my blood that told me i wouldnt be able to hav kids

  • Talk to your local Homeopath and you will be surprised to find that it is a curable dis-ease.

  • Great video! I was just diagnosed a year and a half ago, and it's been rough dealing with it. I'm on so many medications now all for different symptoms, it's pretty overwhelming. But I just started my own channel about getting healthy and pretty much living without hating myself and my disorder. I meet with a nutritionist regularly and I have been exercising five days a week, and I've already lost 20 pounds total. Much love to you and all our other cysters.

  • Whats PCOS?

  • Just wanted to say thank you for getting the word out there! So many people I know have never even heard of PCOS, and thought my husband and I were joking when we tried to explain that this was why we couldnt concieve. I am on 2000mg of metformin and we are about to start our first round of clomid this month. We ar egoing for 2 cycles and than onto IUI if I dont become pregnant. I wish you and everyone else all the best in treating and learning more about PCOS!

  • I found out I had PCOS last saturday..I thought it wasn't really something serious then I started researching about it and I was heartbroken..=(

  • I just wanted to let you know, that I was told that I had to plan getting pregnant and probably have injections to help me because of this. Well right now I am in a situation were I was surprised to find out I got pregnant after only 3 months in a relationship. And my OB GYN could also see that I had PCOS on my right ovary as she could se the embryo;-) So don´t stress about it yet, just keep healthy and keep a normal weight.

  • @morbidgurl it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom hun. trust me.x

  • @morbidgurl u can stop or reverse affects and not every1 will be infertile etc

  • Simple saliva test for gluten and soy intolerance. Simple hope and perhaps a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • i just found out i had cilac disease, which i have had pcos for years is having a gluten alergy connected to pcos somehow?

  • For me, I went completely sterile. Doctors never checked me, until 8 months ago. You should research it all that you can. Best of luck

  • @Brittzie4806 maybe not but its how cysters process carbs that causes the weight gain etc if u see my MM post, look inot it only thing that has worked for me.i found out about teh book on the site i blog on.

  • I'm recovering from a hysteroscopy and a laparoscopy right now! I FINALLY found a Dr that wasn't lazy and one that didn't treat me like some guinea pig, "Oh well just take these and check back in 6 months and we'll just see"... yeah, while in the meantime I'm getting fat, having unbearable pain and either bleeding nonstop or not at all. I struggled with these symptoms for 13 years, and I'm 24. The hysteroscopy scraped the huge amnt. of tissue in my uterus, the lap. was for a huge paratubal cyst.

  • Oh wow. I definitely got the run around when the doctors were trying to figure out what was wrong with me. They never even considered I had PCOS. Thank you for sharing your story :)

  • @alerma84 look into the metabolisum miracle, it will let u lose weight retrains your body to process carbs, any1 w pcos has metabolisum b, and needs this book!

    cyster cin

  • Have any of you that have pcos ever heard of a hydrasalpinx? A hydrasalpinx is a fluid filled tube and can cause a lot of problems. it can be coupled with pcos. Anyway, I thought i'd throw that out there because that too is something that should be checked when you have pcos. When getting checked out, go to your ob, not your gp. Anyway Blessings to all and wishing good health.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know if it can be found through the HSG (dye test)?

  • the HSG test is to determine if your tubing is open. The ultra-sound is best, but its the ultra-sound where they go up inside as well. Not very fun. I don't remember what my ob called it. But that is how I found out about it. I hope this info helps.

  • The ultrasound when they go in you isn't bad at all... Mine was more comfortable then my yearly exam.

  • You got lucky then. I'm thinking mine was new cause she was rough, it wasn't very pleasent is all.

  • @DyingInTheLight sonohistagram, not as "uncomforttable like a menstral cramp" like they told me, it FRICKEN HURT!!! AND a couple of days after ward.

  • im so annoyed with this pcos. i havent had my period in 5 months and counting. i get so emotional sometimes, and all the symptoms. im on medicine but its not helping my periods. i really dont know what to do.

  • I'm sorry. I know what you mean though. I haven't had a period since August. It makes it rough when you are trying to get pregnant. I am hoping to go to a fertility specialist soon. Good luck in your journey. :)

  • awe thank you. good luck as well :] i hope everything works out.

  • I used to get my period once or twice a year. And I know what you mean about being emotional. Sometimes, and still do, get so depressed and don't know why. GO GET A SECOND OPINION.... you could be dealing with a Dr that can't target your symptoms and is just plaing the guessing game with you. I went through that for many years and I finally found one that knows what he's talking about.

  • @barbiegirrrrl see my metabolisum miracle posting, lost about 20 net pounds on it in 8 weeks its amazing!!! she has pcos so she knows wat u r going through. got to try it!!!

  • Thank you so much for this video. I was just diagnosed with PCOS today. My family doctor just ignored me, but my dermatologist listened and did blood tests. I am 19 years old, I thought that I was young but some are only 11 years old when diagnosed! I am struggling with a lot of symptoms including obesity, excessive hair growth, acne, heavy periods, ect. Thanks for this information!

  • You are very welcome! Thank you for sharing!

  • i didnt know this might help me get periods when i started. i had a bad back, headaches: s spine,my spine was pushing on the nerves to my reproductive organs.

w my chiro.dr 2 of his pacients were told they were infertily but got pregnant after a few months of reg periods. my gf was told she would never have kids! endometriosis but had 2 kids

so u dont always need pills.

  • if u dont have reg periods:

im seeing a chiroprator a bit over a yr. for a yr now had normal periods.

dont take THE PILL hoping 2 reg ur cycle as told by a MD during our marital classes if u want to get preg later on.

b4 teh chiro i was told to lose weight to gain periods ive actually gained and still have reg periods :)

  • Wow that is something I haven't heard of or thought of. I will definitely look into that. Thanks :)
