size doesn't matter for dmg like it did in SC1, for example a marauder is a small unit but it doesn't take extra dmg from bonus-vs-light attacks.

It only matters if the unit is light or not. Zealots for example are considered light units with 1 armor, while marauders are considered armoured units with 1 armour, and they are both small.

OMG SC2, great commentary ^^. Actually standard strategy is that you bunker rush against the fast expand if the starting positions are close enough, not against early pool :p
