  • While it might be subjectively scary, you have a greater risk of dying by crossing the road in front of your house than you'd have dying going around that route while being attached with two carabiners.

  • muy bueno y gracias por compartirlo..

  • i feel my balls

  • who the hell decides to put planks around a cliff looks fun thou!

  • Jesus what do these people to to make them climb these places lol, very brave people, amazing

  • OTRO IDIOTA SIN CASCO

  • My son has visited this place.

  • is there a weight limit?

  • You just take the wooden road to town and then take a left...

  • I climbed this path (the name is the Cliffside Plank Path btw) a few months ago. It cost Y30 (around $6 US) to walk on it. The boards are a lot sturdier than they look, and the view is just incredible. The worst part is climbing down to it (on tiny metal rods placed 2 feet apart as "stairs") and the fact that you go and come back the same way so sometimes you have to pass people going the opposite direction!

Was really cool though, glad I did it. :)

  • nice. i wanted to go there but the locals told me it was too cold to go there( it was in november) BTW, i see that u are wearing harnesses. but is it a real harness? or is like some crappy rope or smth tied to you so that you'll have a false sense of security.lol

  • amazing

  • *****

  • Here's my question... that 20 year old board breaks off the cliff, yes the safety cable will probably hold you, but there is nothing to pull yourself up on to, so therefore you just thirst to death hanging there. I'd rather NOT used the safety cable, and plummet to my death than hang there and thirst to death... or maybe not do this kinda shit at all, well that is unless the antidepressants quit working again.

  • @ShamrockRiot . Hi there. I trust the guide adjusts the safety belt so you can knee-climb back up. The hiker should at all time clip his two safety belts to separate cables and disconnect and reconnect at each anchor point one belt at a time so that there is always minimum one belt connected. If this is not followed, one slip of the other hand he would be gone. You won't be left alone, they count the harnesses at the end of the day - I hope.

  • @ShamrockRiot

Yeah. And the fact that many people use that thing means that you won't hang there forever. Use your brains for once

  • @ShamrockRiot there is o small rock ledge there you can step on it. Or if indeed happens what you say, the wooden board breaks, eventualy you find out a way to get down the mountain. I mean, c'mon, where is your survivor sense?!

  • @ShamrockRiot they should really just have not built the path using fucking 3 planks of wood

  • @ShamrockRiot LOL exactly my thoughts! clipping on provides more of a placebo safety here...

  • @ShamrockRiot ? uhh who says you cant just slide yourself over? (like monkey bars kinda) only an idiot would just hang there

  • @ShamrockRiot Nothing to pull yourself up? WTF? Why would a person with no arms travel through that route?

  • @ShamrockRiot In case you didn't notice there are chains along the cliff so you could still pull yourself along.

  • @ShamrockRiot well it wouldn't be very exciting if there wasn't a bit of danger or a bit of risk to it, besides you can always find a way. If the wooden boards break and there's nothing to stand on you can just pull yourself along the the chain until you get to the next set of boards, easy! :)

  • @ShamrockRiot in fact in the mid-way there is a Security will pull you up if that really happenned

  • @ShamrockRiot What's the question? Sorry about replying soooo late

  • OMG your shitting me no safety net good bye life no thanks

  • ja to bym sie tu chyba zesral xD

  • there's just no need

  • What drives a person to do this? Adrenaline rush??? What if you slipped and the thing attached to the wall also broke....I'd be way too scared!

  • Im not sure what's worse......my walk to work through Union station during rush hour every morning or this? Something inside me says that this would be much more enjoyable even in my suit, dress shoes and all.

  • @naKHOUSEMIX

    lol

  • If you live in a flat city and you try that you will get 100% vertigo even just watching the mounting in the other side. Probably you will experience a kind "fish ball visions" as well.

    Just Try.

  • Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to walk around the mountain?

  • Yikes !

  • Well, I did the Half Dome cable route a month ago and it looks like child's play compared to this. On the other hand, I didn't have a clip like the guy in the video!

  • Flippant déjà en regardant :)

  • yep, i´m running out of nappies! Amphicar59

  • why does this trail exist .. so you will like everyday life more?

  • @beammark About 1000 years ago, a Daoist (priest of Daoism) build thisroad and a temple for religious practice. They thought that the higher they were, the closer to the gods. At that time there was even no wood plank on the road. Only several iron chains.

It seems impossible for people to walk, but the daoists who get used to walking on it many times a day could walk really fast. They even use one hand to hold their lunch boxes and only use the othere hand to hold the cliff.

  • im Sorry but, where is it???

  • @aproz84 in China, Shaanxi Province

  • Someone do that Very very Drunk! :D

  • don't look down! don't look down! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!

  • Who would purposely put themselves in a situation like this?

  • How do they even make the road?!?

  • @IICreedll About 100o years ago, a Daoist (priest of Daoism) build thisroad and a temple for religious practice. At that time there was even no wood plank on the road. Only several iron chains.

  • @Lijiacong beautiful story

  • imagine if you were pissed?

  • base jump!! baSE JUMP!!! BASE JUMP!!!

  • thats freaking crazy

  • lol the guy in the vid is obviously shitting himself!

Mind you, on saying that, you would NOT get my ass up there!

  • @UserNamei5 Well the chances being alive after, is of course small, but you hear from time to time people survive a fall from a great height (of course not if they hit the ground with their head).

  • This is "path on the sky" of HuaShang. I climbed this mountain two time, haven't achieved this point, too tired and too many touristes.

  • I stood at the bottom of that mountain, I listened to the stories of walkways breaking under the weight of too many tourists and them all plummeting to their death. I decided not to climb that mountain.

  • POLAK ??

  • If i should climb places like that i would attach two safety hooks to my body so im safe when i move a hook. Its not worth to die that way. Im sure its a horrible death, if you fall down. You will maybe still be alive hours after and die a very painful death.

  • @globe255 Alive for hours? WHAT? You'll be dead as soon as you impact the ground. You'll probably be passed out on your way down... Not that its a pleasant way to go.

  • @bjeil Maybe, maybe not.-:)

  • @bjeil It is obvious that the majority of people on Youtube have no common sense. I just saw a comment saying how it was to bad that they weren't attached to that rope when the wave hit. *Cough* this is in China.

  • @freshtweak Not only on youtube, but in the world as a whole... :(

  • I am planning that trip, ready to go right now!

  • If this is in China, and if pronounced in a certain manner, it can be translated to slippy mountain/hill.

  • @sReelous

Actually, it sounds exactly the same as slippery mountain if you said it normally.

  • @493175001

Yeah, but it can be Drawing/picture mountain if you change the intonation of hua :p

  • Uhm...Even if i was that high, my balls would still be ground level.

  • where is this place?? lol

  • @enseeb china

  • whhhhaaaaat?!

  • Are you friken kidding me!!!

  • any slip and fall accidents up there? we have a good jewish law firm

  • @Rico8458 Hahahaha no one has ever died on this hike before =)

The people take very good care of the supports on this mountain so it is 99% safe =) of course it doesn't look like it but it is safe regardless =)

  • at night on a rainy day with heavy fog. wow.

  • fuck that

  • dont look down lol.

  • look high ;-P

  • did that too, it's amazing!!

  • that looks safe...

  • id shit my pants

  • @diptwo twice...
