Hi-It is standard ukulele tunng G C E A from 4-1 strings. Number 4 string is the one

closest to your head while holding the instrument in right-handed playing position.

i have the soprano version, lacewood back and sides and spruce top, i have found it out performs many other ful size ukes, including the joe brown signiture model (which i sent back) i use this uke as my main instrument, it is so bright and great for fingerpicking style

yes it has good volume sound, but i like the soprano size so its easier to bring with me everywhere, and you play some kind a mysterious way, love it

The both have great qualities. I personally like the Acacia headstock and darker tone. the lacewood has more volume and punchier sound
