First you gotta buy the mat, but if you actually wanna fuckin use it, you gotta spend 29.99 per device (+ or -). wtf? fail. what good does this shit do? I got one of those behind my desktop, they came out in like the early 90's or some shit.

If you have the Evo, you won't have to worry about having a chunky ugly case. The reciever is the same as the back cover for the Evo. Win for the Evo!

Also the mat shuts off when the device is fully charged to prevent the battery from over charging and killing the battery. That's pretty helpful.

I SUGGEST YOU BUY THE POWERMAT AND RECEIVER AT AMAZON.COM. It will cost you around $130 at Best Buy for the mat and the reciever. It's almost 50% cheaper online for both items. I wouldn't spend over $100 for this, but I will spend $80 haha.

This idea is kind of dumb. I'll tell u why. 1st of all, u need either a receiver or a powercube. It doesn't come with a receiver so u need to buy one seperately, which is also expensive and if ur using the iPhone case receiver, it's ugly and big and hard to talk to others on it becuz it's so thick they can barely hear you. Also if you use the powercube it's the same thing as plugging in a cord to your device but shorter so u can't really move it around and use it while it's charging. I suggest

1a. how is putting on the powermat reciever less effort than plugging in a cable?

1b. and if your supposed to leave it on there, who would want to walk around with that on their device?

2. with a cable you can lift the device up and use it while it is charging.

3. *holding cable and powermat in hand* "should i buy this cable which costs 5 bucks, or should i buy this mat which costs several hundred and does exactly the same thing"

If you can charge remotely say at 100 feet away from the base that would be better.
