I heard from a friend of mine that she used to be with Jackie... But for some reasons they broke up and Jackie got married with his current wife(Lin Feng Jiao if I spelled correctly)... My friend told me, because Jackie's friends did not approve of Teresa, so they pressured him to give her up. Of course, I'm not sure how much truth there is to this.

@jingfengchen24, It's not that modern singers are not good, just that they live in a different time and place....For Like, Jay cho; he can sings really well and some of his songs can really represent these days life style...I really like Teresa's songs since i first heard her at 11. Her songs are great but everybody has different preference at different time. For me, even i like Teresa's songs much, her songs can't represent my feelings all time and the same goes for Jay Cho,too.

@jingfengchen24 Jay Chou is that bad? I like him! Although he mumbles at least he doesn't over-exaggerate every word. Times are changing and music is changing too. I mean I also agree that back then, there were tons of Chinese/Taiwanese classics that are really good. I still listen to them now, but I think there are many great Chinese/Taiwanese songs now too. But then, I'm only 23, so maybe that's why but I deff. give props to the classic songs...

Their own experiences throughout their life. The classics are always the best originals, but it's time to move on also try on listening new songs because they're not as bad... @yumenohime I disagree, good music comes from the heart. Music today promotes sexual misconduct, which DOES NOT make us truly happy, it creates more misconduct and disease, and extreme sadness! So, GOOD music, can only make a person happy.
