  • have you grafted another species toa disease resistant f1 stern or what have you done?

  • I wish I had 3 hands......

  • LOL where is the 4th hand at?

  • I wish I can give him 3 big thumbs up

  • show a video grafting a 3rd hand

  • Home gardeners can do their own tomato grafting for disease resistance. Betterheirlooms web site has a nice tomato grafting kit that allows you to grow and graft 12 heirloom tomato plants

  • I would be awesome at grafting too. If i had three hands.

  • What is your success rate, that looked pretty crude. You should consider cutting both the root and the stem at the same time (together) so you get matching angles.

  • 3 hands! ahhhh@!@!

  • cred ca coace CAPETE DA PULA!!!!!!!

  • If you graft a fussy but tasty heirloom tomato top onto a disease resistant, vigorous, hybrid rootstock such as Maxifort you get more tomatoes on a bigger plant with a bigger root system which is resistant to more diseases and environmental stress. More profit for the commercial grower, more tasty tomatoes for the home gardener.

  • aaaahhh!!!! OMG!!!! That guy has three hands!!!! horrible!!!! somebody graft on him a third hand!!!

  • why grafting? i lost all 700++ healthy vigorously tomato with tons of little green unripe tomato within a week (bacterial wilt). next time going to plant 1000 grafted one to cover my lost.

  • Tomatoes grafted to eggplant is being done to get a stronger seedling and, in the end, the hole plant. It means that the root system is stronger(better usability of water and nutrients, plant is more resistant to diseases and most important, has better yield. This is an explanation for those who do not understand a purpose of this

  • the best part of this video is that you have three arms!

  • Sorry, but no explanations to understand why?...

    What the purpose then?

    Could have been interesting... unfortunatly...

  • that is my dady =)

  • rofl, looks so wierd when the third hand comes in

  • what did u use for holding the plant together?

  • tell us!?!?

  • I'm working on a research project with my biology professor, and we're doing pretty much exactly the same thing as in this video. We're using the same thing the person in the video used to hold the plant together. I don't know what it's called, but it's a little plastic thing.
