This song really hits home. It's where I'm at today. I wish more songs reflected how we can find ourselves in need of uplifting, but all I seem to hear is proclamations from those that have already "arrived" and forget those who still need help getting there. While I wait for my sister to come out of a heart attack in the ICU this song is very powerful to me. I pray God will resurrect her and touch her heart and heal it with his power to his glory. May his name recieve the glory and praise!

Her name is Nicole Sponberg (maiden name is Smith, I think). Was in Selah with her brother and another guy. Left a year or two ago. I believe she left 'coz she and her husband have a special needs child. I think I heard that somewhere. And, I never thought about it, but she does sound kinda like Annie Lennox. And, nailspluscross...I'm pretty sure her voice has always been husky. The girl in Selah now has a more clear and higher-pitched voice. I like deep, husky female singing voices.
I have passed this song and videos off to many of my friends as it is just too prophetic to be missed. I heard Nicol's reason for the song nad it's words and she has no idea how powerful the experience and the result of it. May she be blessed
