This man is a bully. He is not a nice character at all. I think he is rude, writes mistruths and obviously is a plagiarist (alegedly). His unethical lies and tactics actually harm people in the industry. I can't say I am happy to see anyone suffer, but I can say what goes around, comes around.

It clearly believes Richards second take on events as much as those commenting here do. Glad to see this "journalist" (and I use that term sarcastically) finally named and shamed very publically. I first became aware of this guy way back in 2005 on another forum, where there are many IT participants that notice these cases of plagarism.

he's been doing this for years.. that's not even to mention his product for advertising scams with major electronics manufacturers... he would often threaten Sydney PRs with bad stories if they didn't encourage their ad departments to fork out the bucks.. or maybe someone was just impersonating his voice on the phone ;)

After years of ripping off journalists around the world, David Richards has finally been exposed for what he is - a thoughtless, lazy "journalist" who thinks nothing of stealing other people's work. And to claim that hackers were responsible for accessing his systems and posting stories under his name -- the man must think we're all idiots.

If they try to withdraw their advertising, maybe Richards will "discover" some bad news about them, or their clients, and publish it.

One agency I worked for bought tens of thousands of dollars in ad space and a series of negative-slanted stories stopped.
