We can't compare our current situation to the 30's. In the 30's we had a major drought and didn't have very advance farming technology, making food very expensive. We didn't have a global economy in the 30's, which means the solutions were more in our hands. We didn't have the technology in general, infrastructure, or the ability to harness the natural resources such as energy as we do today. Think about those things. This current economic situation is fabricated.

I believe what he is saying, but what should I do about it? I like listening to Ron Paul because he makes a lot of sense, but he spends 95% of the time just complaining about what's wrong. I think Ron Paul and Celente have been redeemed because their predictions were correct. But now I'm more interested in what can we do to prepare for this depression. Any suggestions? the cure is to cut taxes and cut military spending and empire maintence...we know the politicians won't do this so that means the real cure is buy gold and silver...help create the stampede to end the dollar. I knew that Celente & Beck had been speaking out about the economy for awile now, but it hadn't occurred to me that they took financial hits to do so. It does make sense, however. Most of the public is in denial--which serves bankster goals.
