amazing singer. I don't understand why she has so many haters. She oversings from time to time and there are a lot of "ohhhs" but this (video) proves she can sing however she wants. The difference to other singers is, she is able sing it "less", but chooses to sing "more". It's her style. There are mistakes she made but that girl has been on TV since for ever, she never had a real childhood and she is human. I've always liked her voice, the voice showed me she has a wonderful personality.

The part where she sings "whatever the words are" is pure Christina. She just sings loud and with lots of melisma. She has not awareness of how to hold back and phrase. The words don't matter to her.

Ouch! My ears! Her high notes always sound so constricted and hoarse, as if she were screaming in agony. Also, she is flat most of the time... Her high croaks during "Beautiful" and her criminally bad E5 during "We Are The Champions", are the stuff of nightmares. I bet Freddie Mercury is turning in his grave.

It's too bad, because she does have a lovely tone. The problem is that her belting range is incredibly limited and her head voice extremely weak and uncontrolled.
