  • INTERESANTISIMA FUSION, UN CAMPO ABIERTO A LA GENIALIDAD Y CREATIVIDAD,

SIN FRONTERAS, PARA GENTE CON UN AMPLIO CRITERIO MUSICAL, DE MIS FAVORITOS

  • They were absolutely brilliant live. One of the band shared a flat with us.

  • vocals are fantastic.

  • PEDAZO DE CANCIÓN. cOMO ME GUSTARÍA TENER LA LETRA.

  • Hola

Thanks for posting a Carmen song! This was a magical album to make, we had a lot of fun. If you like Carmen, please check out my new band - Widsecreen.

    David

  • @davidclarkallen I saw Carmen as the supporting band for Jethro Tull around '74 after Bowie's Midnight Special show. Stil have all the LPs, Dancing on a Cold Wind, Fandagoes in Space, and The Gypsies. Thanks for the great music.

  • @TheeBoyWonder

Muchisimas gracias 3boywonder! I really appreciate hearing from people who 'got' Carmen. My new band Widescreen is working hard on our second album and as soon as they're ready, I'll post a few tunes.

  • Alphi O'Leary lent me a copy of this back in '74, and not one of my mates ever 'got it'... but Fandangos in Space is an excellent album and I searched long and hard for a Cd reissue of it.

  • I also saw them perform on the Midnight special with David Bowie. I've loved them since. I think the style of their music is fantastic. Fandangos in Space is my favorite album of all time.

  • Very cool to see this here - you can see and hear some of Roberto Amaral's latest work on his myspace - Roberto was the flamenco dancer and became lead singer and songwriter for Carmen.

  • This would make a great Doom metal cover!

  • Viva Carmen y el Flameno puro. Compré los discos hace unas decenas y hoy en dia todavia escucho esta musica tan fabulosa.

  • I bought the "Dancing on a cold wind" lp in the 70's and played it till it wore out. I still have it. I found it again on CD while on vacation in london in 94. I was so happy, I would have been happy to jet back home to the states to hear it rather than finish my vacation. Found 'Fandangoes" online in 97.Love em!

  • Envidienme.

  • Wow!!! I can't believe it!!! Alot of people I've mentioned Carmen to never heard of them. What a loss for them!!! I was fortunate enough to see them live in '74, at the Trenton War Memorial in NJ. What a show and what a place to see any concert!!! The flamenco dancing with the spotlights on their feet was awesome! I can go to sleep a happy girl tonight and will renew my search for this gem pronto!!!

    Thanks so very much!!!! ;o)

  • que buenos!! que pena que no halla mas documentos graficos!!

  • Thanks for the video! One of the greatest and most original band of the 70's. Fandangos in space is one of my most treasured LP's and is played LOUD on a regular basis :D

  • I'm looking for this particular song since...what...10 years at least....Why do we sold our old LP...damned.....

  • I never sold mine. In 1987 some speed freak stole all my vinyl. I would love to have that collection back....it's very hard to find some of the older, better music from that time anywhere.............

  • Wow, holly crap!!!!! There is actually someone else besides me on earth who remembers Carmen, Fandangos in space (Bulerias was a great song too!) as well as the other album looking like a "Gitane" pack of smokes...I had to import the CD from Holland...Thanks, great!!

  • I have Bulerias live.... circa 1974 - couple versions but I don't think I can upload the Midnight Special one... let see if I can figure out how to upload it (2 parts)

  • That would be very cool!!! I hope you can do it!!!

  • i do remember this group, its part of my life...

  • Wow! I agree with you. I didn't think anyone else even knew who they were. I have the feeling I'm gonna have to do what you did to get a copy. I listened to my Fandangos album till it popped and crackled. What a find here on YouTube, eh? ;o)

  • I like them a lot!

Great Band, Viva Mi Sevilla is another fine song!

  • Hell yeah! More Carmen on Youtube!!!

  • Tank you. Lena from Sweden

  • It`s a fantastic song. Maybe you have the hole album?! It´s the past.......

  • I do.
